Ah.  Well that explains that, then. :)

*winces*  Oh crap, I'm sorry Dazzle, I thought you did that Tim Horton thing, not Starbucks.  Is that  someone else in here that mentioned Tim Horton??

Anyhoo, yeah, it doesn't really apply to the non straight coffee drinks.  So enjoy your lattes :)

To illustrate just how evil Saren is.  Betrayal, up close and personal.  Also, "Garrus Vakarian" is a cooler name for a follower, and if Nihlus had lived, he'd probably be the turian on Normandy chasing after Saren.

...cause kids like me played both 1 Hellfire & 2 LoD to death, producing internet bills (that used to be a thing) in the multiple hundreds region.

It was a massive let down on PC & as a sequel to Diablo 2 (arguably one of the most punishing numbers based calculator simulators dubbing itself RPG - respec a character you had to play for months? Nope. Sorry that skill is useless and YT isn't a thing yet, enjoy your wasted level)

BUT...

Diablo 3 on console, and as it's own thing, however, is one of the most awesome games to play with friends. Neo-Blizzard style flawless, hyper-fluid (hi Donko) gameplay, and you can play it with four people on the SAME SCREEN. It's just mindless fun that you can play for hours, lowest loot psychology firmly controlling your every thought, and all characters are very well thought out and perfectly balanced.

They deserve eternal credit for that. Just not for a proper sequel.

Bingo.

See I never really played or go into the first two Diablo games. I was pretty young at the time and didn't really comprehend how to play the game.

But if you look at Diablo 3 as it's own title, it's actually a really good game. Sure, it doesn't have the beefy storytelling used for BW games, but the combat and looting makes it all fun. Plus when you unlock more abilities it does get interesting, creating your own combos and shite.

Not offended, darling, except that you consider Tim's coffee anything but dishwater. ;p

Just giving another perspective, is all. :)

Hehe, I've never actually been to a Tim Horton's.  I just know it's a Canadian thing and I love Canada (see spoiler) so I always take the position  that things Canadian are good unless proven otherwise.

Import Rob Ford and give him a crack pipe and a lighter!

 Traitor.

Oh, no, you misunderstand.  We'd still have to retaliate of course.  We'd have thirteen new territories to administer.  But I would still love them as we conquer them.  Tough love, if you will.

What can I say? I march to the weird beat of my own drum. Which plays in 7/8 time in case anyone was wondering.

Funny you say that because just last night I was texting a friend and he said the same thing. Not the Nassana thing, but the heartless thing.

Can we start taking drinks for people complaining that all future DA I DLC will be on next gen only.

Also, to add....will I have to do a drink if I start a thread wanting CC imports because they have done cross console save exports now?

YES! The back and forth is quite heated.

And yes. But from what I gather it also imports the face as best it can. At least that is what I gather from this very small thread: http://forum.bioware...360-to-the-one/

I meant like in the same console just importing the same face...but into a new game.

And in another note.  Gavin is like 80% of the reason I have any interest in the Witcher.

WELL I WAS VERY YOUNG, TOO.

*clears throat*

Yet old enough to play them. Also, I really age well and dignified, if that isn't obvious by my constant outbursts and mentioning of it.

Diablo never had decent storytelling, but it used to have an amazing atmosphere, which I believe is lost. It isn't fun to play alone anymore. It was incredibly dark, and style-wise a lot like Dark Souls.  i.e.European medieval stuff, without WoW-like ornaments and glowy weapons. There was an attribute (amongst 27328362151 others) called "light radius", which should explain a lot: It was the light your character emitted around him, so you could actually see. Especially in D1, you just decended story-by-story in the Tristram Cathedral, the last 3rd down into hell itself, and everytime you cleared one, you feared what would wait in the other.

This is not me bringing the eternal "old games were harder, ergo smarter", but in Diablo, it used to be a thing that you were in fact NOT likely to win; which it absolutely hasn't in D3.

Damn, I get scared just watching that. Also that Rogue is OP as hell. (BTW: Also the reason why I actually love playing archer rogues)

In that case you'd definitely have to drink because there are already threads asking for that. What is so difficult about copying the sliders? I imagine it's the sliders that make it difficult to have face codes in the first place. Black Emporium allows easy copy of sliders. Bam, done.

EDIT: Those last sentences are not directed directly at you. I'm just kinda sick of seeing the request and the crying involved with it.

I gotta take a drink for that.

Dearest ladies of the DQ,

the reactionary chauvinist that I am, I'm assuming you can help me out with this cosmetical problem simply because you were born with a vagina. *coughs*  Alas, while I get all the terrible hardship people with straight hair must suffer because of the "limited/terrible/outrageous/awful/insulting/disappointing [...]" hairstyle options in DAI, I myself am also a little underwhelmed by the buzz-only cuts for afro hair - yet of course would not dare to take away the spotlight from the real victims. Well, except you're f*ck out of luck, because you're my gang.

So since I prefer my hair to be longer IRL, I tried going for the Shepard Booke from Firefly, or Tyr Anasazi from Andromeda, or " generally guy who's outside a lot"; giving my character the only seemingly palatable "long" hair option I could determine:

BjDQoMW.jpg

So since I wrote all that jibber-jabber above mostly because it started to amuse me mid-way through, the only actual question is:

How's it look? Too fake?

I must say, it think looks better than I feared.
