Thanks.. i think..

If that's "Full Metal ******" Rita, then yeah, she is actually a pretty bright spot in the movie. Actually, I can't really complain about most of the acting. Just struggling to get into the whole "vibe" of the movie. I did crack up at one line early on with Bill Paxton's character. "You're American?" "No sir, I'm from Kentucky!" God bless southern pride!
ETA: @StormQueen: Yeah, I remember watching something that I -think- may have been on the extended DVD where they were interviewing some of the trainers. They said he took to the training with a vengence.
EDIT: Al > StormQueen *derp*
Yes, that's Rita, and those exo-suits weighed at least a good 50 lbs, if I recall correctly!
She's one of my most favourite actresses out there.
No actor or actress can beat my views on Viggo Mortensen for doing their own stunts since Lord of the Rings started filming. Don't get me wrong, any actors willing to do a lot of their own stunts rate very high up my respect charts for famous people, actually they top it. I don't care if they're the worst actor out there, if they are willing to do more then just speak lines and make faces on camera then they are doing their jobs properly...
Viggo refused to have a stunt-man especially for the sword fight scenes and learned how to use a sword properly himself. According to some of the stunt men and camera men the stunt guys ended up a bit scared of doing the sword fighting scenes with him, he was really good, and scary, while filming. It's so awesome.
Gotta love Viggo, he is divine!
And I didn't know that, so that's fascinating!
Bleck, sorry to hear you have the flu, Dazzle. Care to share it? I could use a week off work....
Feel free to take it off my hands, darling!
Pffffft. I thought the Drinkquisition was a magical place. Do I need to get my magicks on?
Meanwhile, I'm busy sewing as I listen to Cox n Crendor. If you've listened in at all, you know it's drink-worthy.

If you're insulting the DQ we'll be having words, you curmudgeon!
On the other hand, feel free to release the magicks!
I always find it frustrating when Sera says Lady Emmald that the subtitles put it in quotations.
It's her bloody name, there's no quotations needed!
I think Lady Emmauld was probably a Red Jenny title, not her actual name.
Also, Hello DQ!

Ohhhh. Well that's irritating. Like stop using quotations as vehicles for story!
My favourite part of Kingdoms of Amalur.. telling some invisible guy to GIVE ME YOUR BOOTS!
*drinks to demanding boots from npc's*

Yes Ash did.

Nonono, you got it confused with that other place.

I love it! I've never heard of this game though; would I enjoy it?

I agree it is kind of dumb that the only clue that its not her name is in the subtitles.
That song is awesome. Makes me kinda want to try Witcher 3.
IKR? Gav is like 80% of the reason I want to try out the Witcher 3. The story framing and my GF are the other 20% combined. ![]()

Not sure if I have a favorite, I just think he is great and makes awesome music. I really like the one he did for Dragon Age Inquisition.

Man,I really need to play that someday. I did the demo just long enough to get Knight-Reckoner armor in ME3, and then bought the game, but haven't ever really played it. Too bad what went down with the studio and whatnot. I've heard good things about the game, but obviously no sequel ever coming.
Work rage.

This is why cattle prods should be standard equipment for you, Roy.

I don't know what kind of games you like or enjoy. The character creator is lacklustre *gesture to her gal in that pic* but Kingdoms of Amalur stands as one of my favourite games. It has a very pretty world and enjoyable (to me) stories, quests etc
The combat animations are awesome though, you can roll out of the way of most hostile attacks aswell so very active fights, can throw magic/spells at stuff etc and has a decent range of weapon types.
There's crafting of potions, enchantment type stuff and weapons and armour. You do get a house but there isn't really decoration customisation you just add more rooms to it, you get given it in a quest to save a town.
I love the rich stories, and quest chains, in it, teaching you about the Fae, some sort of weird "immortal" race, when they die they get reborn so never truly die or something like that, game explains it better then I do.
Faeblades (shown in my pic earlier) or chakrams (in my combat pics below) are awesome! but you can have bows, 2-handed-many things, dual daggers, staffs, wands etc

Edit: heh the guy I was fighting didn't stay visible long enough to get a shot of, he kept disappearing (going invisible by fight design).

Kingdoms of Amalur is a really good game, I reckon you would really like it, Beren.

Actually, I figured that because it's DQ, it has to be magical. Where booze and snarky comments run freely.
Oh wait, that could just be my living space. shrugs
Nonono, you got it confused with that other place.

Beren-buns, where ever I am IS a magical place.
Meanwhile, as I play catch-up with Cox-n-Crendor's 100th episode, I need to down a whole bottle of something strong. Probably Evan Williams because, according to Scary Game Squad -- it takes the edge off. Somehow they'd went from serious topics to all dreams being sexual. If that's the case, I fear what any of my dreams mean, because I do have some very strange ones. My mind is a scary place.
PS: Listening to grown straight men try hard at sounding tough, only to scream like sl-- bimbo #1 in a horror flick, is beautifully entertaining to me.
