Well.. that was a little odd. And highly suspicious.

I had to have my password changed cause it wouldn't let me in. Paranoia +1000000.

So I've spent the day watching Star Wars: Rebels season 1 on Netflix...And to my surprise it isn't bad. It isn't later Clonewars good, but what they are doing isn't terrible. I was afraid when it was announced that it would be strictly a kiddy pool with kiddy characters but this crew is actually well written and halfway believable. Competent at what they do even. Hell, from the initial descriptions of the characters I was afraid that, for example, the mandalorian would be a hipster fighting "the man" with paint bombs and whatnot (yes, this was implied in the official descriptions). Instead she uses blasters and grenades and is focused on the job when out on a mission and doesn't talk all that much. She spraypaints on her free time but that's about it. You can actually tell she's a mandalorian, which is more than Lucas did with his "reformed mandalorians" *spits on ground*. I kinda focus on her because mandalorians are my favourite fiction culture of all time. The real ones, that is. Not the dirty, disgusting pacifists. :P

Yeah, anyway. Good show show if you like star wars. Rewrites the beginning of the rebel alliance yet again but that's nothing new in Star Wars 'verse.

Might be the EA authenticator server going down again. I remember that it has done it at least once, giving everyone the "incorrect username or password" spiel.

Matters of taste. Feels a lot like Firefly to me :P What I am not a fan of is the simplified art style. They had it just about right in Clone Wars.

Found something!

http://forum.bioware...s-that-show-it/

We're desperately running out of things to converse, so we know re-use "intellectual" assets and cover up the fact by throwing them together & applying them where people definitely wouldn't expect them. BSN turns into quite the modern game developement studio!

Doods.

Need a break from a small screen to a bigger one.  Cabot,  a Dr Pepper and lace it with a snifter of port (Paragon's safe word for a gallon of Dunphy's).  Down in one DQ.

Can't be more stupid than my opinion about unfair treatment of tadpoles in wildlife.

All that went through my mind was, "Thank God it was Wrex I betrayed, and not ArchAngel."  Also, surprise consequences!  I lost not only Wrex from my war assets, but also the entire Clan Urdnot.  The other Krogan clans are there for 300, but Clan Urdnot is gone.  Total Krogan war assets now only total low 400s.

Spoiler

And it's always nice when betrayal is topped off when a bit of irony at the end...

Spoiler
