It is, isn't it. I can't stop watching it, but I'm pretty sure at least once an episode, I cringe away.  Have you just started watching it, like the first episode?

 

I've watched the first three so far. It gets a little bloody and cussy and naked on occasion, does it not?
 

Honestly, poodle, if she had said "Graham biscuit crust"  then I would have looked at her funny and asked what she was smoking.

I blame sailors. Getting their ship biscuits mixed up with their bread-ish products and confusing the later generations. Best to just leave it alone and not waste time on the 'discussion' as there is no wrong, only culture clash.

Well thank The Maker we're not Canadian, eh?  Those poor bastages, they could have had it all.  American tech, British culture, French cuisine.  How they ended up with American culture, British cuisine, and French tech is beyond me.

Years of having to deal with people who can't deal with folks in other parts of the country having slightly different names for things and them being terribly ignorant about it.  Comes from moving from The South to The North.  Not so much now though fortunately.

 

There really is no point because it's just different names for the same things and no one can "win" these kind of things.  No one, as I said, is wrong.

 

But it is still annoying though when I ask for a sausage roll

 

 

and get told they don't have any
