I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.

Look at the adorable little family!

Fun fact schizophrenia has nothing to do with split personality/dissociative identity disorder.

It means "split mind".

In my understanding.. It's simply a case of your wires literally getting crossed. The imagination/fantasy aspect of your brain can't differentiate from reasoning and logic.

Okay enough Psycho babble from me now.

I know. I was making a stupid joke and it's a Bill Murray line. Ground Hog Day if I remember right. Although my brain is fried and my memory is all over the place.

Mine was caused by a drug phase I went through a few years ago.

I was assessed and told "you're almost there, but not quite" and diagnosed me with schizoaffective disorder but after reading up I'm not sure that's accurate.

It seems lm closer to "paranoid personality disorder" but Ugh.. It's all labels anyway. :P

Urgh. I hate reading up on it. Every time I read what qualities are signs etcetera etcetera, I always feel like I have them.

I was wrongly diagnosed with a sort of Psychosis problem when I was a teen (14), I didn't know until i had been on a medication that has been known to cause brain damage/brain problems if stayed on for more then a year. I took it for 7 years. After that I was more properly diagnosed with Aspergers and quite assertively told to stop taking that first medication by 5 different Gp's and a psychiatrist, all after I graduated highschool of course.

So Donk may know, the Aust. Government (well Abbott) changed their Disability Support Pension requirements to meet? I still qualify :P been on it since I was 19. Had an assessment, medical review and interview last month to see if I can work without causing me (or others) more harm mentally/emotionally etc *mutters*.

Reading about it on the internet is one of the worst things you can do -about that and any other illness, really- if you have doubts you should see a professional.

I'd like to properly engage in this conversation but I lack the English medical vocabulary to do so.

Aspergers is a lot different to a psychosis though.

Maybe I should get a different opinion too :P but I don't think it's necessary. I know my brain is whacked I don't need a name for it.

That was my point, 2 completely different things and yet they got it wrong when it mattered more, during school. lol. There's a reason i was bullied since Kindergarten right til i stopped trying to find jobs.

Judging a box and corpse! Still my favourite judging scene. (completely ignoring Kyrrah's horrible choice for seating posture)

I know. You see it on the screen, you think it in your head, you feel it inside. I'm not hugely worried about it right now. Just got to stay away from any thing that messes with my head.
