I thought there were none in the DQ. I would gladly pin cushion some fiends for you, milady - you know, if the whole thing were not gone to sh*t without the internet.
It's always amazing how smoothly everything, except online features obviously, works after you just unplug it from the network. I don't even blame them as much for the service being down per se, as much as I am baffled over the coding that forces the whole console to choke on its own tail to death, as soon as XBL is down.

Well, some games are made 'Better with Kinect' as the saying goes, but so far, I haven't noticed anything super great besides the voice controls. I love ordering my XBox to do something and having it happen, it's just so awesome. I may also say thanks to it sometimes... Lol.

I'll be picking that up with the console. Honestly, it is one of the main reasons why I want an Xbox One; so that I can keep up with the story.
I'm actually not a fan of FPS. I'm not very capable of aiming in that perspective, and I prefer "realistic" shootouts with a cover system, rather than jumping around.
The only FP games I play are Thief, Dishonoured, Fallout & TES; though I play those in third person, too, ever since it became available.

I really enjoyed it. Some nice tracks I hadn't heard before, took me a while to get the hang of the rewinding trick. Loved the scenes with Chloe and Max. The only weird thing was that

I suspect the spoilered thing is because of a 'disconnect' between the game scene creation and the recorded dialogue. Likely they recorded the speech first and didn't match it up with the game when they made those scenes. Or the other way round.

I think so. But after Destiny, I learned to be very cautious with laying out marketing claims to fit my own personal cravings in a game.
On that notion, I am heartbroken they discontinued the Splinter Cell series.
They just got it back on track splendidly with Blacklist, yet I suppose the fans were still too hesistant after Conviction, and so it sold badly anyways. The suits then probably declared it irredeemable at last. I hope the presumable success of the new Metal Gear Solid (which I never cared for in this dualism, because of my inability to appreciate overly asian culture writing) will make them change their minds.
