Naked Eva Green is like the easiest thing to get ever.  Not that I am complaining, you understand.  Maybe that means I'll watch the second one at some point now.

Funniest thing about the first Sin City is the character that had the most reason to be naked - Nancy the stripper - is pretty much the one one who doesn't.

I'm pretty sure you see her completely naked in Penny Dreadful as well, in a very weird, disturbing scene.

I've seen six of that so far.  There's that scene which makes her mother faint, which is probably what you're thinking of.

Then again, I watched the Camelot series, and that was rife with Naked Eva Green.

In the episode that focuses on her history. I can't remember everything exactly, but it details a lot of the she went through that sort of led to where she is now. It's in that episode.

That's the one, yes.  Her and something demonic but invisible, it seems.

Yeah! I think it's supposed to be Satan.

I wonder what it must feel like to act out scenes of that nature...

A combination of ridiculously awkward and awkwardly ridiculous, I imagine.

It can't be easy, that's for certain. Same goes for watching it whilst it's being filmed. Just a boat load of awkward on the set.

Augh, my old job's payroll department are incompetant morons.

Told me two weeks ago that they were working on my record of employment and would send it to the government within a few days.

What do I find out today? They can't even draw up the paperwork until after my final paycheque (which I thought had just been deposited, but no...) which will be the next pay period in two weeks.

...Incompetent morons. Why did they lie to me in the first place??

It's a move companies do. Telling you it'll be done soon means you won't cause a fuss or make an issue out of it. When you eventually find out, enough time will have passed that there is a good chance you'll just leave it and wait. You'll be p*ssed off, but you won't do anything about it because you just want it done as soon as possible.

No, that's not ****** acceptable. If I'd known I had to wait until my final paycheque I wouldn't have applied for EI benefits until then.

Basically now I have to talk to the government and apologize and ask them to put my application on hold because my company lied to me. Great.

What Sparkles said. Annoying business practice too, especially when you're the one having to do it (only spent my min req of 6 weeks in that particular job).

How is it in any way acceptable to lie to your former employees? I don't understand this. I never lied to any of my clients!

They're bigger, and it's to their advantage.  They'll lie their fiscal socks off if it saves them a dollar or two.

I never found it acceptable at all, but as an admin at that place at that time I had to do what the boss said, I quit that job as soon as the 6 weeks was up. it was a contract full time so had to wait for the 6 week introductory phase to end, only chance to quit without breaking contract.

Well I now not only have a sore head, neck and shoulders but a swollen nose to top it off. Lucky I have a dr's appointment in a few hours. Kid ran up to give me a cuddle and headbutted me in the nose, an accident. But now my nose is cut (was bleeding) where my glasses sit, bit of bruising and bit of swelling and hurts more then the other stuff.

Sounds like you need to just write off everything from the shoulders up and start fresh.  Anyone know any good head transplanters?

Unions ftw. Over 80% of the working population being unionized has its perks, one of them being that crap like this is tended to by an army of union lawyers. Oh, and the fact that the workers can not only shut you down, but also any company that works with you if you really ****** them off. It's mutually assured destruction, but it keeps the peace around here.

Australia has unions too but usually only the nursing/hospital staff one and the labor force one make any noise. But those, for good reasons when they do.

I was in the union, but they can't really do anything about incomplete paper work at this time, sadly.

mmm from what I recall from when I was working, the unions here really only step in if harassment, abuse, salary/pay check itself being mucked around by employer etc stuff is happening if it concerns just a staff member or two. Not paperwork laziness unless it's very unethical to customers etc all sorts of rules, lol. But they do, if enough evidence is pulled together, have the authority to shut down businesses through the courts.

Ours step in for individual members whenever either laws, terms of employment contract clauses (which do include being tardy with the end-of-employment paperwork) or other general douchebaggery happens that either has wide effect or concerns an individual union member. Then its either courts if laws have been broken or negotiations, strikes and total blockades of the company if its a contract issue. The companies don't play nice so neither do we.
