I'm now herding Halla.. this is the main time a horse comes in handy in DAI. It was pretty eventful for such a tiny quest.

 

Smokey and I found Goldie without issue and started trying to herd her to the Dalish camp.

A rude Freeman archer decided it would be fun to shoot arrows at Smokey.

After that interruption Goldie seemed to get a little flighty and tried to run in the wrong direction, meaning Smokey had to get a workout.

But we got Goldie safely to her new home in the end.

Beren, when trying to install Windows 10, did it feel like it didn't want to? For me, it's restarting as if to do it, but not doing it.

that's odd. Mine showed the percentage it was complete and the percentage of each category it was working on (save files/configure drivers/apply settings) and restarted after it completed each category.

I think my install only took about an hour.

I always have bad luck with stuff like this.

 

I could just wait a day and let my computer force the update. Hopefully that would work. But then, there is no guarantee that it will...

My laptop has been yelling at me to upgrade to 10 since I got it. I haven't done it yet just to spite the dang thing. Yes, I will even spite inanimate objects.
