Yup, of course you can Rel.

Being spoiled for Life Is Strange would be the worst thing ever, so I wanted to be sure before I risked it!

Still not played ep4...

Read it - good work, Lustred One.  I chose not to do that other thing too - it seemed the right choice to me.

Enjoyable if one is a masochist is the impression I'm getting

I know the feeling, that's why I can't risk ep:3 after a big glass of hooch.  I need to know what I'm doing and I refuse to change my major decisions.  My roleplaying skills are sh*t and I'm playing Max as myself as I do all games in my first playthrough.  It's great, thanks for flagging it up you guys, I would have missed it otherwise.  I'm not on Steam and local stores in Ireland don't stock indi publishers.  I went looking for Saint's Row v today - not a chance.

Saints Row V? Do you mean Saints Row IV?

And that's what I'm doing with LiS. Playing it as if I am Max. When I had to go back through the story, I did the exact same choices.

I mean more in reference to your quite sweary 'reaction' to what I gather is the ending!  I know nuthin' 'bout nuthin' otherwise, but I'm sure it'll be as slow, then confusing, then weird, then intense, and then shocking as the other episodes.

Yeah, it's best to tackle it with full focus.  That's why I always leave a new episode to the weekend (or other applicable full day) for a full-on four-hour-ish session.  And I'm glad you like it because it is surprisingly good and not something I would have imagined playing myself.  I don't think I've played anything like it before.  It's so well-made.

And yeah, I find Max is easy to play - just be nice but very nosy and you'll be fine! :D

Yup I do!  See big glass of Shiraz smacked me in the head.  But then someone told me it's a shooter and I don't mind shooters of a certain kind.  Like I class Uncharted and Red Dead as shooter-type I also played Rainbow 6 Vegas with a friend but I don't think I could play Call of Duty.

I think (I haven't played it myself) you could compare it to Grand Theft Auto.

Ah, it might not be for me then - I have 'played' GTA but just went on a giant rampage and never got any further.  Alrighty, start of Ep3 tomorrow.

I love it.

I played them ever since the first one released in '98, and it kinda set my love for stealth games in stone. I'm also a pacifist, so I'm always glad when there's danger and potentially lots of violence, and you can avoid it - let alone a whole game that lets you do it.

Lots of hardcore fans hated the reboot, but I actually liked it a lot. Just turn off the HUD & focus entirely, it's a great experience. Let's me do what I like most in games.

Yeah, I played all of them too.  I like the sneaky sneaky.  I like to not be seen at all in these kinds of games.  And so far I've only knocked a couple of people out but that's all, but then I'm not far into this one yet.  I only just discovered there is a mini-map, so I'll use it sparingly I think if at all.  Already turned off the annoying floating key-to-press indicators but I'm happy to accept some glowy sparkles on things for highlighting as I reckon Garret's more observant than I am!

Every time I see that "I have a hard time supporting Vivienne's views" thread I always think "Well... don't, then?"  Why does there need to be a thread about it?

As for Beren's news clip...What you can't or won't defend aren't really yours. Good on that guy for defending the privacy of himself and his family and the drone f**knuggets can go f**k themselves with a cactus.

How is it possible to be more tired after waking up? Missed The Dame. :crying:

Cooke just can't be bothered.

When did she become a cooke? Or did she change her name while I was sleeping?

Ah sometimes I love writing battle scenes.  *contendendly gets back to it*

Is that when you're trying to write but the paper and the pen contend with each other? If that's not it, then I'm lost. Because something is contending with something else... *drink*
