I just got LiS last night. I haven't started playing yet since I was working on finishing up my Qunari Warrior's playthrough. I am betting that Cas ends up Divine, so he'll be bereft of his lady love come endgame.
Judging from the talk on here, I should not expect LiS to be an uplifting experience. Ah, well, there's always my drunk elf to laugh at.
Hi, Bolt. I think I missed the introductions first time around.
LiS is.... well I guess it is one of the most amazing, most joyous, most challenging, most heart-rending, most shocking, and most excellent of games. It has its ups and downs, in terms of what happens in the story rather than the quality of the game itself, like all good stories. You can expect to feel warm and fuzzy and then frozen and numb all in the same episode. Sometimes multiple times. But despite that (or because of it?) I don't think I've heard anyone say they didn't enjoy it.
Just follow what I think of as the Bioware Game Mantra - go everywhere, do everything, talk to everyone, don't miss anything.
And choose wisely.
