So I looked back through my LiS decisions (I won't list them even in a spoiler because the temptation to peek might be too much for some people and it would truly ruin the game imho).  Suffice to say that apart from the two I listed previously, I only really dithered over one more for a length of time.  Not that I didn't ponder the others but I wasn't as conflicted.  It would be cool to compare though at some point because some of the stats surprised me.

FF13-2 scarred me for life.  I stared at my TV incomprehensibly at the ending.  I still don't know where I went wrong.  I mean it's FF, I never understand totally what's going on all of the time but WTF.  I don't know how much influence SE had in LiS it was developed by Dontnod Entertainment.

I never actually finished FF13 or 13-2. I did finish Lightning Returns though. I was kinda happy with the ending.

My computer is really acting up today, I wonder if I have a virus.  I didn't play Lightening Returns, tbh I didn't care much for the game (FF13-2) it didn't feel like a FF to me I didn't feel connected to the story at all.  The new one looks good though.

Still published by SE so the game is obviously worth their effort

FFXIII was a huge disappointment for me when it came out. I gave FFXIII-2 a try because it was on sale and really enjoyed it (despite Serah being really "meh" in my opinion); then bought Lightning Returns on release and it was awesome. After that I played XIII again and it was better than I remembered.

Finally got the "throw cookies at people" dialogue with Sera, she hit Cassandra? it was funny.. wish that wasn't black-screened though!

Oh they definitely don't feel like FF but still enjoyed them. Oh, a friend of mine has the demo of XV - it's really beautiful and the combat is super fun, not a big fan of the protagonist's voice in English though.

 

I can't wait for the remake of FF 7. It's going to be so awesome!

Hell yeah. I wish they didn't change the combat mode though... I liked VII's style of turn based combat.

The only thing that bugs me about FF is there are so many obscure things to miss, things you couldn't possibly know without looking up.  The best thing that happened to me in FF7 was fighting Ruby weapon with no chance of me winning and then somehow I hit it for 7777 damage and then all my hits afterwards hit it for 7777 until it was defeated.  Total chance, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Posted this in a different thread, but damn Kyrrah's got some issues

Kyrrah's story in point format.

- Female human mage (Kyrrah)
- Described Ostwick templars with distrust "they turned to stone, cold if a mage was being mistreated"
- She has a scar on her lip, which I headcanon as happening at the circle (she's rather sarcastic at times so I guess she sassed the wrong templar).
- Doesn't believe in the Maker (being a mage she feels the Chantry teaches that she's more animal then human), or any Gods at all really (spirits!)
- Dislikes and distrusts the chantry because of all its politics and power-grabbing.
- After all that she does train to be a knight enchanter due to preferring being in the thick of battle on the front lines.
- Romanced Cullen, but still disagreed with him about templars, the chantry, the Maker, even spirits.
- Enjoys being quite the flirt, luckily Cullen doesn't mind since he never mentions her flirtatious nature in-game so it obviously doesn't bother him at all. (I miss the jealousy chats so much! wish they hadn't stopped that)
- sees Dorian as her Soulmate and closest friend.
- very smart and skilled mage, knowledgeable in the arcane and always learning.
- Has connections to the shady underworld very early, even though it requires a perk I like to believe my sassy mage was breaking a lot of rules at the Ostwick Circle.
- Sided with the mages (ally), continually says mages should be free since you don't need magic to hurt an innocent and training can be done outside of the gilded mage prisons (Circles) just as easily and successfully as inside them (my Inky's thoughts, not mine)
- Recruited the grey wardens, and anyone (and everyone) that she could, "I'm always looking for new allies. Introduce me".
- Got to yell at Cory-pory "I don't believe in Gods!" when he mentions he thinks that she wants to be a God too.
- Loves the Avvar mages, and how their society handles magic and training.

Yep, now.. Dirthamin temple thingy time! only got this and one more zone (and the rest of the dragons) to finish. Then re-kill Cory-pory puddin pie for the 3rd time on Kyrrah and head to the Frostback basin...
