I'll play it of course. Just a bit of a facepalm not only having some rather large SW expanded universe cliches written in yet again but also the whole "none of what you have done up to this point matter anymore and youre back to square one" business. It's just so...Lazy.

I have a feeling they're trying to bring in new players, did they say it was an expansion where you could start at it, rather then the rest of the game? I'm a bit fuzzy on the details from gamescon.

Apparently you can start straight at 60 if you want....Though i can't imagine why anyone would seeing as the greatest writing is in the original class quests

Thought I was remembering that right! so yeah, geared for new players who don't want to go through the class quests.. which are my fav part so thank Gods for class quest exp boost! it's giving me something to do while waiting for the DAI DLC release hehe, play a class I haven't done yet in swtor (and level a class that's my favourite - smuggler, so I'm ready in advance)

Sneakily dropping this here, an image, which is bound to get banned along with its user, revealed that the new MP character is actually a Dwarven DW(!) warrior of the Silent Sisters.
I'm sure her banter is hilarious.

Similar thing happened with the Warlords of Draenor expansion for World of Warcraft, where you can boost a character straight to level 90. The reason for that was basically down to the end game content being the actual worthwhile content (seriously, a couple of days playing and you can get to level 90 like it's nothing). The end game content, like raids for example, are the main reason why people play the game anymore, so instead of trying to fix the journey to level 90, they just went and said, skip it all if you really want to.

Yup. That boost is really helpful since i play my SWTOR as single-player only. Excluding the occasional starfighter match. Started a female trooper a few days back and boy if it isn't fun playing alternate universe zabrak femshep
Silly person: "How about the republic compensates me for my trouble?"
femtrooper: "How about i start shooting off your fingers?"
Silly person: "!" *tells everything he knows*
femtrooper: "The republic thanks you for your cooperation, citizen. Have a nice day."

I can actually get this DLC while I'm still hyped about it. Weird.
