What am I supposed to be looking at here? Where the conversation is now or the OP's request, because I happen to think his/her request is actually a fair one.

I agree. I know a lot of people who would probably really enjoy BioWare games but....also though they did add the on off button for the gore.
They've already removed majority of what made DAO awesome (world wise/dialogue wise etc with more 'pushing the line' themes on darker/gory/sexual stuff) and people want them to kiddy it down even more? *makes sad face*
They won't do a turn on/off option, too much effort for anything more then blood spatter on clothes. they'd just remove it all completely which would be horrible for the franchise, DAI is already considered as rainbows and candy in comparison to dao by a lot of people ![]()
/endopinion.

And....well I just do not see it. DA Is graphic content is just not 'in your face' as DA Os. But its there. I will say this a million times if I have to. ![]()
I mean seriously the only things that DA I has removed from the graphicness department is the brood mothers and the desire demons when you get right down to it. First off, eww, and second off...while part of me does lament their passing Imshael was a rather good substitute because he was actually savvy, instead of, here be my ******, they control minds!

Anyone who has a problem with mature content in a mature rated game is suffering from a self inflicted problem. Instead of hardening up or finding another game with approriate rating to solve said problem, the OP is asking for a company to spend time and money on a feature that adds nothing but actually takes away from the game.

While this is certainly true there can be two sides to the whole maturity coin...I mean i just remember my Hawk walking around caked in blood in cutscenes.

DAI is so toned down in every department that i think the only things keeping it from a T rating are the sex scenes.

That's where people come from when saying its rainbows and candy lol. I never said it was me saying that. I actually enjoy reading and damn.. some of the letters and notes are right up there, but a lot of people prefer seeing more then reading, I've seen a lot of complaints about everything being told not shown, if they cut even more out it's going to hurt. A baby filter for an M rated game isn't going to happen.
I see BioWare games as story first, content second. I play them for the story, not for all the other little tidbits. I don't turn them down, and I do them where available, but the reason why I pick up a BioWare game is because I want to play the story. Simply removing that scene, and not the event doesn't detract from the story. You just simply don't see it.
And he's asking for a toggle. Meaning, you don't have to use it. It's an option like turning on subtitles! Honestly, I do not see a problem with it.

This too. DAI is -that- close to a lesser rating, it sometimes feels like they added just enough to keep an M rating.

I can turn gore off in my DA2 game.. it's the only thing I always do, I love the rest of the shown stuff.

That's like saying a Mature game is a mature game because it contains really mature content matter. And its not just the sex scenes.

And I wasn't saying that you were saying that.
And I prefer seeing it to. But this is Inquisition in a nut shell. I think the reason why there are so many different opinions on the game is because there is so much content, and so many different things you can do to approach situations that you might not even get a lot of it. I didn't in my first playthrough (with Ben) I either missed it or did not realize how horryfying it is...but with Kara...oh nelly. My favorite comparison (of mine) is comparing DA I to an onion. It has layers. The top layer is very shiny, very safe, very comfortable, but scratch the surface even a little and there is pure horror under there.

I swear sometimes the BSN reminds me of a political rally. People holding up pre made signs with catchy campaign slogans like "Make America great Again." (How about by you leaving the country) Hope and Change (I'll keep the Hope, you keep the change.) Or "Lean Forward"

That scene was written in TO THE STORY for a reason. It makes someone uncomfortable? Maybe, just maybe it was the point of the scene? If the OP can't handle the scene as written its his problem and no-one elses. Not worth spending a minute of development time or a cent of money on.
AHA! a "it's $15 for a DLC *starts complaining*" thread! finally!
*grabs some drinks and waddles off*

Might be 20 for me.
I'm still torn on whether or not its worth it just getting SPoils of the Qunari for the sole purpose of seeing Kara in skimpy armor.

well the DLC's are 17/18$ for me. I got my money's worth from Jaws of Hakkon and still enjoy it heaps so getting this one too. Just I'm that boring person who bundles video games into the same class as all the entertainment I get a fortnight so $18 is the cheapest entertainment price I'll spend this month and it will be available in 5 years if I want to play again then so a class all of it's own! As I said, helps I really enjoy JoH hehe, I don't participate in those threads, just like reading them. free entertainment ![]()

So, in terms of a sexual scene, you're saying you have to see them f*ck in order to get the full understanding of that relationship?
In terms of a death scene, you have to see the guy get beheaded, in order to get the full understanding of that death?
No. You really don't.
Sure, it might be 20 for you if you live in some country that is not America.Might be 20 for me.

you miss my point? I'm shocked.
To be fair I only got the $7 Spoils of Qunari for the horse and that skimpy armour.. *coughs*

But I'm not going to be using it. That's the thing. All I'll do with it is craft some, dress her in it, play around for a bit, then reload so I can do it 'properly'.
