So Dienne noticed, and I thought I'd share Kyrrah's character growth in how I've been trying to tell her story a little. I won't have anything else until after Descent's been out for a little bit.
She started off more innocent, maybe a little foolhardy.
After the weight of that title (Herald of Andraste) and being promoted to inquisitor she reached the shining white knight outlook, trying to be what the people wanted her to be. This lasts the bulk of the game.
She loses touch with herself a little. Buckling under the pressure, Kyrrah becomes more reckless, and risk taking. Starting to take any choice that makes her stronger and more able to win.
Getting her sense of self back, Kyrrah starts to change a little, finding darker sides of herself. She continues to charge recklessly at risks that could end badly in the end. It is during this time that Kyrrah also takes up Dragonslaying.
Finally we reach her battle against Hakkon, and she's embracing that darker, more confident, stronger self.
There aren't many ways to show changes like that other then with the character's visual representation. Her clothes, cosmetics, stances, dialogue, emotions. I won't know how Descent will affect her until I've actually done a few runs through of it, but I have tentative ideas.
