Yep. Still, if I was back in New Zealand right now I'd be freezing my ass off.

But still, what the heck man. I was cold only 2 days ago now I'm sweating. I've lived here for 7 years and still not used to it. We may end up completely skipping spring again, as usual. Even after this half-hearted attempt at a winter.

On the armour topic, Kelevra really still has lvl 2 & lvl 1 upgrades, on his lvl 2 coat, because he simply doesn't wear armour.

 

It's just a coat, gloves & boots. Everything else looks too flashy and un-adventurer-like.

 

 

It's especially sad that the boots are lvl 1 with zero useful slots, because I am never going to change them. They look too awesome with these chaps over cowboy boots and are almost as iconic as my beloved hat.

 

There, I care about fashion.

I know! Looked after a herd of Quarter horses for a while, they were nice and easy, standing more at just over pony-classification height and not too feed intensive as the bigger breeds. These things are great warhorse based it looks, wish they'd chosen more of a Destrier / charger type steed though, smaller (15.2-16hh) but strong and fast (like the Friesian for a modern day example)

I love QH - the stock horse type not the halter-bred type abominations.  This is my husband riding his horse (since sold) sorry it's a rubbish picture, but this horse stood at 17hh in this pic

Lol, that was my little Connie stallion posturing in the foreground.  Bearing in mind that the human Inquisitor can't be that small cuz she can eyeball Cullen, that's got to make some of those mounts over 19hh at least.  That bay horse in my pics weighed a metric tonne so he needed 20kg forage per day on maintenance only.  Inquisition horses gallop everywhere, you'd need to be dragging a cart of hay around with you especially in HW and EdL.  I ran around Skyhold looking for a hay barn - Immersion ...... broken   Yeah I may be overthinking it, lol  

 

OK DQ, I have to go underground for a while as I have to finish off my canon run on PS4 ready for JoH and The Descent and I'm worried I'll be tempted to click on the spoilers.  This is spoiler land so t'would be my fault.  When I return, I'll be bringing some DQcharacters with me.  Enjoy the new DLC y'all

I got used to Brisbane weather simply because I hate being cold and it never is here...well, to me anyway.
Then again, being an expat kiwi means my perception of what's cold differs greatly from others.

I think I would have been fine this year if the inside of my house (thin walls, wooden floorboards etc) didn't feel 5-10 degrees colder then outside.

 

My cut off point is 20 degrees.. I don't like anything remotely cold. haha but sudden temp changes wreck havoc on me, my body hates it.

I was thinking Shire/Clydesdale heights and builds for the in-game horses.

Your Inquisitor can eyeball Cullen? My human lass is shorter then him by what seems to be a couple of inches! I got a little obsessed with trying to figure out my human lady's height for a while. I think she's a little taller then me, but def shorter then Cullen.

There is a hay loft at least? but no barn. and only 1 visible horse haha

 

The Quarter Horses I was working with were working horses. I was allowed to take one around in a show string for a couple of weeks, ridden, she was awesome (Velocity) I leased her for 8 months. Being work horses they got a decent amount of feed mix with the usual forages, mostly sorghum hay bales etc

Velocity, unreg-Quarter horse 5yo mare. Spends most of her time herding cattle. lol she was 15.3hh

 

Jethro - ex-racehorse (thoroughbred). this was like 6 years ago. I haven't been around horses since I moved to Brisbane. He was around 16hh I think.
