Took down the Emmisary Alpha in about a minute this time. Dorian with Dispel + Sera with Thousand Cuts. + Kara with MOD....equals one dead Emissary Alpha. May've thrown in a haste too for good measure.

The fucker just wilted. Probably the first time I have ever ust destroyed a 'tough boss' like that.

 

But then this was countered with.

Kara leaping shot the wrong way, got seperated from the group. Decided to follow the Sha Byrtol in stealth up the path back to the group...party wipe.

So...I've decided to replay my canon warden Mahariel. Not changing any major decisions, just wanting to experience that journey again, from core game through Awakening and finally Witch Hunt and his exit from the pages of history to be with his wife and child. Booting up the game now.

I am very tempted to do that with Verana.  The date for her save was January 29th, and I've so enjoyed playing her again with Descent.  I did briefly try taking her to JoH way back when it was first released, but I screwed up, lost her higher level saves, and tried going in at level 18 and got wiped by bogfishers.  Thank the Maker, I located a backup of her saves after that, but didn't try JoH again with her.

 

I'm just not sure how that would affect the Keep, and I don't want to botch up her record there.

I do have to say, I give props for the excellent adherence to role playing you Solasmancer ladies manage to pull off.  Y'all know it's going to happen.  You know your Inky is going to have her heart ripped out of her chest and get roflstomped by that walking sentient phallus, but you still romance him.  That's good RP and Beren salutes you!
