- I have enough mats to craft one of these: Reaver or Silent Sister?

Some are early-bloomers even without many promotions under your belt, but as a general rule I'd say about lvl 10.
The Reaver is a two-handed DD Warrior who fights similar to Iron Bull; she's one of those Dragonblood Magic cultists in DAO's Haven. They majorly buffed her recently (so you see Tamar(s) everywhere) but I'd still say she's slightly less straightforward than the Silent Sister, because you constantly have to toy around with your own health to make the best out of your various damage bonuses.

Yeah. One down side to that though is that if you are the type of person who wants to clear the level of everything, and the other three aren't, you have no choice but to follow them and miss stuff.

I can solo Threatening dragons with my Hunter because I done l2p with him the most. And with the Avvar because top-tier weapons, with top-tier ridiculousness levels of HoK, would probably enable my dog to do the same even quicker by wagging his tail in the general direction of my controller. And I am very bad at playing warriors in games, usually.
Not that I'm still on the fence about mechanics such as HoK or Guard, or rather their reasons for existing.
HoK is nice. Wish I had that Heartstring bow or a SHoK ring. Still hoping I get a SHoK ring before DragonRacer. Would be funny. DAIMP is teaching me how to Warrior, still prefer my Archer though. I finally unlocked Skywatcher yesterday. Looted from a treasure room.
I've said this too often in too many threads, but I have a naturally resentment against treating symptoms to make a problem go away.
It's mostly guard, though. The reason why Guard and HoK exsists is because you would otherwise die for the lack of defensive options, and I think just giving warriors random invicbility just because is a sloppy way of dealing mostly with the terrible AI.

I never even use barriers on nightmare.. like ever. Never needed to, nor did I babysit companions. Nightmare mode is still too easy. Only time barriers get used s if a companion decides to throw it on some random party member.. haha
