I'd say they have a point, and I agree to an extent. No, I'm not saying boob plate or overly sexy with a lot of skin showing. Why can't there be a bit more variety in the way some armor looks on men and women? Good example is the Dalish armor with male and female variations.

 

This is one of those things that are pretty hard to work out design-wise...Cloth and soft leather? Anything goes. They ain't really armor so whatever 

It gets tricky with actual hard armor because there is exactly one functional basic design, namely the 'snug barrel around the torso', that will keep your insides from becoming outsides. You can pretty it up with ornamentation and wearing other stuff over it but the basic shape is what it is. Frankly i'd hate to be the armor design guy for bioware, trying to navigate between the needs of character customization and not making the armors stupid

More variety of styles would be great! I only didn't agree with the op because they said they wanted more like the revealing Qunari one.

I get that sometimes. I'm bilingual but i CANNOT do both languages at the same time. If i'm typing/speaking in english i'm also thinking in english and vice versa with finnish. Everything is fine right up untill i have to switch between them. It feels like a a trainwreck in my brain and everything gets jumbled till i manage to switch gears in my nogging >.<
