I don't need to pretend to be drunk, or indeed get drunk. I'm in a semi-conscious existence already, the more tired I am, the more drunk I seem to be.

...pic saved... because.. reasons.

;) Thought you might like that one.

Look who's casting appreciative glances from over side of the bar?

Spoiler

Yes, I'm quoting this post again and I don't regret it. B)

Good night, DQ~!

Regret nothing! There's the lady in his dreams.

.... nice to be here - usually means I'm here by myself.  I can catch up later

Edit ... stupid brain!!  Enter does not mean post.  .... can catch up later when I can read some of what I missed! *Paragon slurps down some booze*  Ooh an edit, slurps down more booze.

Double edit .. Lindiss took down 4 Snoufleur IR ...4-IN-ONE.  I should not admit how long it took for my companions to herd them for the LS but ... ah did it!  Post vid tomorrow.  There is a snowball's chance in hell I'll ever get 5 of anything - especially those pesky Halla.  Wut!!  I missed Dame and Raven AGAIN.  Well f*uck.

Nice! I look forward to seeing the video of this feat.

Good morning! *yells StormQueen as she sprints in the door*

This is the most awesome thing, ever!

*tackle-hugs lynroy*

Because you not only managed to finish the game with her, and the romance BUT you even recorded a lot of the scenes

 recorded so my friends could watch and laugh along with me. I even did stream a bunch of companion cut scenes and HLtA so they could watch her do her thing live.

Sorry, can't help myself. Found this from my Ballroom pics thread, was posted by lynroy there but I can't figure out how to post multi-thread quoting:

lynroy's post:
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL It's easy to think that. xD And....too late for Cullen....

Watch at own risk. Do not drink beverages while watching, you may choke on them.

Spoiler

 Priceless.

Well the entire history of Thedas seems to be one of strife and conflict.  But Thedas has been pretyt much peaceful during the eighth age...(Sun age?) but then the DA happened and things are really going to ****.

Blessed Age.

"This land is like one catastrophe piled upon another and another"

I think Solas says it much better, and worded so much better..

Not to mention Solas went into slumber ~1000 years ago.

I thought I should warn people, you never know who may be scared by a pixelated nipple. Lol.

Oof! Jeez, for a small person, you sure pack a punch. *Gets up and rubs her sore backside*

My own nipples don't scare me. *drink*

The reputation alone is enough to drink to. ; P

Oh ****, we have a reputation? Guess I should put some pants on.

EDIT: ToP!!

"I'm just going to...fall aslee....p...*snore*"

How'd you all first come to play DA?

Through ME 2.  Loved ME 2.  (one of my favorite games of all time) picked up ME 3.  Picked up ME 1.  Heard a lot about DA and it was BioWare so I decided to pick it up before my...uh...2nd year of college started.  Picked up the UE of Origins and DA 2 at the same time (I have a lot of faith in BioWare) and found them pretty enjoyable. 2 more then O.  And then Inquisition is also one of my favorite games of all time.  I adore this game so much.

I played my boyfriend's xbox 360 version of dragon age: Origins a year after it was released. Been hooked on the series since.

DAI is my first, I feel like such a loser for getting to it so late! Haven't played a game with so many paths and choices. How was Origins?

Thank you, that's the one.  I was pretty sure the Sun Age was going to be what the Dragon Age was going to be called until you know...Dragons.

My friend recommended DA2 to me and I just loved it. I must have played through it at least 10 times. When I got bored of that, I went and bought Origins and I have been hooked on Dragon Age ever since.

Sounds like Origins was really good... hmmm...

How'd you all first come to play DA?

It was only three years ago, summer after ME3 came out. Got DAO for free on Origin as a gift from EA for having my Origin account for a year. I had a choice between three games: DAO, Spore, and Battlefield. It was perfect timing because ME3 had been out for a few months and I was looking for a new game to play.

Origins was ok.  my three big complaints was:

  • The main antagonist(s) in that game were pretty...horrible in all honesty.
  • The combat gameplay was clunky as hell.
  • no voiced protag.

But there WERE lots of choices, the plot was solid, and the cast was pretty much BioWare's awesome cast, but not their best.  And it also had the best side missions in all of the series.

Origins was amazing, however combat is really chunky and slow, and the pc controls annoy the heck out of me. Also your character will say "So I shall" to you when you ask it to do something, or some other variation of that line depending on the voice you chose for those combat and action comments.

Other then that, brilliant story, gritty world, well made game.

Origins? Better. If such a thing is possible, because Inquisition is danker than Meld.

You know funny story I was never big into fantasy until Dragon Age.  I mean I did the whole LOTR thing but that was my pretty much only 'high fantasy/ dark fantasy/ medeval fantasy' series that I really went for.  When I could count probably a dozen sci fi franchises I just loved.  But then DA came out.  And now I am also a huge GoT fan.

I absolutely love and still enjoy dragon age Inquisition, but Origins is the better game over-all.

Oh definitly.  Play it on Casual.  And DA Awakwning (the Expansion to Origins) is a MUST.

That's my feeling with DA 2.  I enjoy DA 2 more but I recognize Origins is the Superior game...but I have a hard time calling Origins better then DA I...over all.  In anything in fact.  The only thing Origins did better was the side quests.

I loved Dragon Age Origins. The story was fantastic, but the combat is not as good as DA2 or Inquisition. Combat is a lot slower and the Player Character is not voiced, which I did not really like. But if you can get it used or free on Origin or whatever, then you should check it out.
