Just to give you another laugh since it is so funny for you.

To clarify, I was laughing at Zero all over again, not you. Your plight reminded me of Zero's thread, so I went back to find it and have a laugh over it again.

I PC too.

This somehow reminds me of the cover of any show's season box.

The reason why I'm not so religiously fanatic about DAO is the fact that pretty much everything about Rogues, from equipment to skills, was either awkward or awful, but never awesome.

One thing I do miss about DA 2s Rogue was 'decoy'.

It was in the...uh...crap...the Specialization for DA 2 that was not Assassin or Duelist.

I suppose this is the perfect time to state that I hate DA Is Assassin Focus talent.  I would replaced it with:

Precise Shots:

For a limited time the Inquisitor focuses their mind, allowing them to aim all of their strikes expertly.  The Inquisitor gets a 100% critical chance with an additional 100% Critical Damage bonus.

  • Tier 1: The effect lasts five seconds.
  • Tier 2: the effect lasts ten seconds.
  • Tier 3 the effect lasts fifteen seconds.

Hmm. True.

I had to see what the Assassin thing actually is. I prefer the Way of the Tempest myself.

Anyway, off to work, weekend is incoming at breakneck velocities!

Decoy was learned with the "Shadow" specialization.

There is a milder equivalent in DAI with Shadow Step, the upgrade to Evade - despite it only lasts for 3 seconds. Still it deals 300% weapon damage when touched, which can crit, so it is actually a lot better than most consciously give it credit for.

Cloak of Shadows -Assassin focus talent, adding invisibility to the entire party- is an awesome skill per se, but it is surprisingly un-stabby for being an Assassin talent. The Artificer tree would be a better fit, since I have always found the Artificer focus to be too restrictive to ranged-only anyways. Also Spike Trap + Watch Your Step is such an amazing fit, it should emphasize Stealth more. Not that it mattered to me, but I figure.

(I do still want Thornton to have it in MP and call it "Active Camouflage")

Hmmm I did not know that about Shadow Step.  Shadow Step seems so...uh...thinly veiled.  It does not take the enemy long to figure out they've been duped.

It's more like something you force a mob to run through for damage, as a little bonus. It's not a crowd control device, if you will.

Bear in mind that Evade is practically another movement button for your character, as it has virtually no cooldown.

Evade is frickin awesome.  I love it.
