IDK I think the average/ casual gamer could probably do the game in about 100 hours twice.  Given they would have one involved playthrough but not TOO invovled but then they would have a much quicker playthrough just to get to the content they missed.

My favorite revelation from the war table was the stuff about Dragon Gland's.  I was like holy ****.  uh oh.

>.> every single one of my playthroughs kicks into the 190-200 hour mark by Cory-kill, and I'm a slow/casual gamer so was being kind knocking off a few hours from my usual times.

You know despite my joke I really do despise the Dalish, they are one of the three organizations I really despise in DA.  In my fic:

Maker's Balls.  Even my Kara playthrough only clocked in at 113.  And that's with all the DLC.

I do almost everything, I also don't skip cutscenes/dialogue, and playing on hard or nightmare difficulties. I also don't like rushing through stuff much at all. If I start to rush then I stop playing for a bit, rushing = missing stuff!

I also do spend time crafting gear, checking abilities, etc.

Kyrrah, aka Cory-Killer number 14, is my only character to finish all DLC's plus main game and she's finished her playthrough on 258 hours.

Edit: and I still missed stuff on Kyrrah's playthrough! so not only do I have to re-do it with my proper canon world state, but have to make sure not to miss the stuff I did. lol

Yeah....I mean I have developped a few really bad habits, which I can get away with because I play on Normal. :P

One of these days I will look at the Battlemaster tree, I swear.

So yeah, approx 150 for the average gamer who doesn't want to miss anything/checks everything out etc. <100 for the average gamer who skips dialogues, plays on casual etc, under 70 hours if they skip half a zone here and there too.

I was trying to base an hours-range on those who do a playthrough while trying to experience everything that playthrough has to offer so should have clarified where my 150 approx came from haha. Drop it from 150 to around 120 for casual/normal but no dialogue skipping and actually reading codexes etc.

But I do not skip dialogs.  Not intentionally anyways.  *glares at Sera*

Hey now, you are not meant to choose the fastest time when giving estimates on time to complete. You give a pretty decent slow-playing gamer time, not many people are as slow as I am, most would be near yours but giving mine at least they know they'd get it done in a faster time then I do, so can plan for 150 hours but in reality drop it out in 110 or so.

Marketing!

I do too, she grows on me more with each play through.  But I missed the cookies scene with Kara. :(

He has an incurable soft spot for female mages, I hear...

Why don't you have a fancy signature, yourself?  ^_^

Well I read here that you write  ^_^  you'd do well on using some sentence you like about your stories here, as I've done. And also show me your stories, if I could read.

I do love a good book, in whatever form it may present itself
