So, hang on a moment. What did he actually do that made you split up with him?

Wait. Are you really asking me that?

ergh I hate this down mood. Kid is trying to climb all over me and my chair, because she is playing, wanting to spend time with me and she's giggling her little head off and it is taking all my willpower not to snap at her to leave me alone. ffs I hate this.

*forces a smile and hugs her apple cider close*

On Origins, i was trying to choose between dalish or city elf because .. I've never actually finished Ostagar with an elf let alone the game.

Well I'm apparently staying, but I'll be sure to shuttle you drinks on a regular interval!

Dwarf noble who actually DOES kill his/her brother!

ETA:  "Go gold! Or pewter. :)"  OH!  Criminy, I thought, you know, character background, not the image background.

Oh wait, was I wrong? I thought colour first, haha!

It can definitely be difficult when kids are in your space. Maybe a hug might help?

Oh, I am really partial to the city elf origin.

Go Dalish Elf! It's my favourite, but there is a heartbreaking moment later in game because of the Origin.

Got myself a Dalish rogue lady. I have finished the city elf origin many numbers of times just not the game with that. Don't even remember the dalish elf origin so might as well do that one :D

Well, yeah. I mean, to me it just sounds like he didn't get in touch with you for two weeks. There could be any number of reasons for that. You said he told you he was having an allergic reaction to the painkillers. That means he will prescribed with something else that will help, but will likely also have side effects such as drowsiness. Reason there for not staying in touch. It's not on his mind because he is drowsy.

Then you said you left him a message saying you were over. If he is drowsy, he might not know how to react to that. He could be upset, enough so that he doesn't want to talk right now. Previously, it sounded like you two were good together. So unless something else is up with him, I think I'm right in assuming he'd be upset by that.

I don't know. From what you've said, there is likely a reasonable explanation behind it this situation.

He has his read-receipts on. He's opened every message I sent to him.

And you're giving him way too much credit, It's so disrespectful to just disappear on someone like that.

Look, I'm angry enough, can you just please be on my side?

He's not. He was in his apartment last night, purposefully letting me stay outside knocking on the door and denying my calls.

You could always name her Nimrodel.  I have one in DAI named that.

Dwarf Commoner who picks all the pockets!

I did that kind of playthrough once and I had a blast. I just love picking pockets in Origins and laughing as I run away with all the loot.

Yeah, seriously guys, there is no reason to not communicate.  Especially after many attempts of your significant other trying to get in touch with you.  Hell, a simple call or text of "I'm alive, but I feel like crap.  Can we please wait a week or so before seeing one another again?"  ****.  Anything, you know?  Unless he was in a coma in the hospital, which clearly wasn't the case, there is -zero- excuse for no replies.  I'm not saying he had to engage in a lengthy text chain or two hour phone call, but total silence isn't excusable.

*Drinks and ponders things*

ETA:  Sorry, I was typing when those last posts flooded through.  Consider it dropped.

I'm just trying to help. I'm on your side, but I believe even people on your side should help in seeing something from another perspective. I don't know the guy. You do. You know your position best, and what's going on from your perspective. At the end of the day, I can either say the same thing everyone says in situations like this, or I can help you in approaching it with a new thought that maybe you aren't aware of.

I'm sorry if you think I'm not being supportive of you, but I am trying to be.

Thank you. Thank you.

I'm not the clingy girlfriend. If you reach out and say "I need my space, can we talk next week?" I'm going to say absolutely. I just want to know not to expect to hear from you.
