Spoiler

It seems I won't need the radiators this winter...
Alright, Stormy. We are even. You with the blood magic ritual and me with going through and posting the definition of decent in that thread.
Dienne, you spilled your drink.
*yawns* taking too long.
*StormQueen falls asleep in the middle of her Dieb summoning ritual and starts snoring*
SHE'S ASLEEP! *pulls out sharpie, glue, and macaroni noodles*

Woops, you're right... it's like the fourth in this month, Cabot's gonna kill me

Looking good... but it needs more skulls *grabs her purple marker*

*drink*
Well, that was fast.
Woo! Imagine playing Red Orchestra as Russians.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a smoke appears, and when it obstructs the hell out of your vision, you hear a guy YELL over Global in German, telling his team to charge the ever lasting hell out of your position.
Then you die, because said guy is already in CQB, together with everyone on his team, before you manage to do much.
Woo! Adrenaline's flowin'!
Well, Bloodborne was awesome. So awesome infact that after 30 minutes of playing it I've uninstalled it and will never play that piece of garbage again. Ever. A shame for such an interesting worldsetting to be held hostage to such trash of a game.

I don't think it's garbage, lots of people like the Souls games combat mechanics and actually prefer them to many others. I'm not good at them myself, but I still enjoy the games, specially Bloodborne.
Well, that was fast.
Counterintuitive maybe, these games are known for not "holding your hand", but cheap design? I don't think so... I'd say the combat here is much more complex than most games nowadays.
It's nice of a game to show it's crappiness right out of the gate before you've invested any real time in it.
Dark Souls games have their share of cheap design crap but at least the combat somewhat worked. I don't remember ever seeing as unenjoyable, broken and counterintuitive piece of crap combat system like that of Bloodborne. Nothing. Worked. My consolation here is that I got it from -50% psn sale instead of full price.
Were you trying to not get hit? Yeah, don't worry about that. Just make sure you hit them back super soon after they've hit you.

It's dodge, hit, interrupt+power attack ad nauseaum with a sprinkling of healing. That isn't complicated. Its very, very basic. The problem isn't the lack of handholding either. I know how to play games of this style. It's the fact that the player not only has to fight the enemies but also the game design itself, looking for workarounds and glitches to survive that makes the system awful. It's not fluid, its not intuitive and its designed like that simply to artificially give the game a higher difficulty.

Sorry to tell you this pal, but it sounds like the game is out of your league. And no, you do not need to exploit glitches in order to survive the game. I got a good 30 hours in. Didn't exploit anything once.

Taking this drink to go. Keep drinking, my friends.

Hey!
Come on, guys!
Sure. Whatever. I'm done here.
Edit: Oh, and don't confuse unwillingness to tolerate poor design with the inability to do so, "pal".
But it's not poor design. You are just unable to understand how the game actually works. It's not a hack and slash. It requires some actual skill.
Just...
Oh, why do I bother. I'll be back when I feel like drinking.
