We've renamed Scuttlebutt to General Discussion, and we'll no longer have separate sections for spoilers vs. non-spoilers. Instead, we will expect posters to be more diligent about hiding spoilers and labeling threads that contain spoilers.

Listen here, FROM Software games are demanding because they demand different things from you than most other current games. It is out of the question however, that their difficulty stems in no small part from the fact that they deliberately go with outdated, and thus clunky & in effect sometimes even gimpy design styles, and are kept devoid of any comfortable solutions to these issues whatsoever, as well. Thus, they are difficult when compared to mechanics you are being confronted with on a daily basis; but once you have gotten the hang of what the game expects of you, it evens itself out.
Now, Bloodborne is fundamentally (indeed) different, in aspects that are crucial to Souls veterans - that they are less different from one another when compared to other ARPGs notwithstanding. That's to say it is perfectly possible, as a gamer well aquainted with the former franchise, to feel very uncomfortable with all the changes BB holds. Additionally, the increased speed of the gameplay now highlights the aforementioned gimpiness even more.
Roamie played Souls as far as I know, so it's a perfectly legitimate gripe. Lastly, I am a little tired of this self-entitlement towards supposed outsiders of, as well as elitism within, the Souls community. It's also just games that one can learn to ace, and can despise the sequels thereof.
