lol, true. I did go through a phase where I wanted to get away from awesomeness and hit the clumsy side of an Inquisitor.

Actually I had to restart the number sequence because I forgot where I got up to last time

I think that one is probably closer to 9 or 10.

Not really, but it all depends on your personal view of role playing. I can play a set character in a game fine and enjoy it (like DAI) , but I can't put myself in the character's shoes, or think the way they would sometimes (which is my view of role playing).

Oh. Yeah, I see your point. Usually I never put myself in the character's shoes or make them act the way I would... my style is to create the character that I think most fits the story and makes it a good one. My style also has smth other people would disagree on, which is:

 

I would never do a Qunari or Dwarf Inquisitor (or romance IB, Sera, etc...) because after I've gotten a grasp of the situation in DAI I can't quite (in my head) imagine a plausible reason for a Qunari or a Dwarf to be Inquisitors... I don't really know how to explain but simply put, I try to make a good book/movie story with what I'm given

 

(a book/movie that I would think is good enough of course, in the end it comes to my opinions and povs)

 

It's what... makes most sense to me. Lol. I'm weird that way

  I have -never- found this before!  I found a third fade-touched obsidian that gives 3 guard.  Got this third one in the same area as the second.  Whacked the dragon, got the one out of the chest, and then I was going around the perimeter plucking obsidian off the rocks and *boom* another one.  I at first assumed it was going to be one of those +10% damage given / +100% damage taken sort of things, but then I checked my inventory...

There's a "gives 5 guard on hit" one too, as well as the 3 guard one. use one for a weapon, the other for the armour

Yeah, that's Silverite that I -think- you get from Emprise du Lion IIRC?  Haven't gotten the gumption yet at level 11/12 (I just hit 12 with the dragon but my posse is all still 11 I think) to hit that place.

I cannot play a character based on myself/my personality etc. Seeing as I hate myself, I'd hate a character that was anything like me. I have always been absolutely fine with The Warden, even Hawke. Inquisitor is a little more difficult for me to 'become' but no less enjoyable.

 

I also struggle with the idea of a Dalish inquisitor, personal preference feels human fits the entire story more then any of the other races. That said I still am glad they brought back race selections!

I believe so, silverite. I only know I threw both on my templar's gear because I didn't like my other options at the time. She went right through JoH on Hard with barely a scratch until the arcane-horror guy. Then killed the dragon by sneezing..
