No, I am softening on that stance, though I still do better thinking of them as just "great scifi flicks that aren't really trek." No, it's suggesting that the odd numbered ones are bad. They're not bad. They're just trek material that aren't up to the usual trek standards, but are still better than 90% of the crap out there.
I'm still waiting for the day when the DLC comes out for Inquisition where Kirk and Spock step through the guardian of forever and emerge through Morrigan's eluvian. Followed closely by SG-1 who just went through the stargate...

I would agree but I am not that big of a Trek fan I like almost all sci fi and fantasy that I have seen more then Trek. Though a lot of the movies are pretty good. But still one is one of my least favorite movies of all time and 5, while I liked a llooooottt more then most people it was still only ok...ditto for 7.
