Wait. 7 hours? That'll be midnight for me... I'll have to catch it on YouTube or something.

I'll try and watch it. I still believe they'll mention something about what they are planning next for the franchise. I don't think they would get a panel just to talk about DLC.

*Beren sighs as, once again, the OP in that thread is listing time in PST*
News flash, we're in daylight savings right now, so it is PDT in Seattle, WA where PAX is taking place, not PST. It is occuring 4:30pm to 5:30pm PDT. PDT.
That's gonna make people think they need to adjust another hour to account for it being claimed to be in PST when it was just laziness using that instead of PDT. I just do not understand why it is so hard to use the correct time zone.
*Beren drinks and knows he's being a d*ck about this, but it's one of his HUGE pet peeves*

He probably doesn't know the difference.

Most everyone does not know the difference, and you are the only one I know that would really take it as Standard time instead of Daylight time. Basically everyone would see the PST and think, "Oh, pacific time" and then calculate accordingly to the current time.

*shrugs* Maybe it's just a generational thing. They taught us this crap in elementary school back in the day. Still, PST is incorrect, regardless.

Yeah, I'm not sure I learnt the time zones in school. Or maybe I did, but was to ignorant to pay attention in the lessons.

We didn't. Time zones, yes, but not "You use S when not on daylight savings and D when on daylight savings". It wasn't until after I graduated from High School that I noticed PST/PDT and wondered what the difference was. I figured P was Pacific and T was time, by it took me a moment to figure out S and D.

That's unfortunate
Time, being the predator that stalks you all your life, is something you should be intimately familiar with. Know your enemy.
I'll blame Obama.

So is it any good? I gather there's a lot more reading of text than voice acting or cutscenes, as is to be expected with the whole BG vibe.

In other news, whenever I go to investigate a pile of corpses in The Descent the game CTDs on me. This is a new thing for me. I think I'll try again on that tomorrow.

Yes it is, ok I'm really early into the game but absolutely loving it so far; and yes, it's mostly text but that's the way it's meant to be, and I prefer it like this.

Obviously my fav romance in DAO, and my fav romance in all three games.
Going through DAO again has actually been enlightening. So many little things that I catch onto after playing DAI and the DLC. For example, warpaint for my dog called Kaddis of Hakkon Wintersbreath or the one he currently has Kaddis of the Lady of the Skies. Just little things like that.

Just swinging by to mention I have found a black elf. In full arcane warrior armor, too - who knew the Elves of all apparently have no background checks?
Henceforth, he shall be acknowledged as Bro'tharmen, the Afrocane Brothior.

I'm going to have to play it again at some point. Love that game. It's definitely one of my favourites.
