I started 1 when it came out. Freaked me out. No game that ever made me so aggressive, as the controls never did what I wanted them to. So I abandoned the franchise.

One day last year, I talked with my man about that there is no pirate game, I really like and how sad it is to me, because I. Love. Pirates. While complaining I started Steam and the first thing I saw was 'Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, 60% off!' Saw it as a sign. And dammit, it was. Such a great, great game! After that I played the complete franchise. Backwards. 3, 2, 1 and listened to all the audiobooks (Black Flag still is the best)

Haven't tried Unity yet because the PC port still seems to be terrible. But I guess I will in some years

 

So, both of you: Go ahead, play Assassin's Creed. It's worth to sell your soul to Ubisoft. I mean... it's not worse than selling it to EA
