Lol. I know it's weird, but it's better than spoilering every word.

Guys. Guys.
We may have a problem.
Tarasyl'an Te'las.
"The place where sky was kept."
Skyhold.
The name Skyhold may be seen as a "Hold in the Skies"... but also as a "[the thing] that Holds the Sky." Tarasyl'an Te'las.
It doesn't end.
Once we were
In our peace
With our lives assured.Once we were
Not afraid of the dark.Once we sat in our kingdom
With hope and pride.Once we ran through
The fields with great strides. We held the Fade
And the demon's flight
So far from our children
And from our lives. We held together
The fragile sky
To keep our way of life.Once we raised
Up our chalice
In victory.Once we sat
In the light of our dreams.Once we were
Once we were
In our homeland
With strength and might.
Not afraid of the night.
Once We Were, as performed by Bard Maryden. It... it does not speak of the Inquisition. "Once we sat in our Kingdom" and "In our homeland" - no. It speaks of the ancient Elves. And "fragile sky" and "holding the Fade and the demons' flight" - A description of the Breach, but in regards TO THE ELVES.
The Orb used by Corypheus. It's Fen'Harel's in origin. The Dread Wolf - Solas, or Pride. This is not the first Breach.
We all know what they say - The Dread Wolf closed the Creators and the Forgotten Ones in the Heavens and the Abyss.
But we learned that this is not it. No. The truth speaks of the MURDER of Mythal. And she treats Solas, Fen'Harel as an old friend. Clearly, this isn't how it was.
What happened? Somebody was getting clever. For some reason, Fen'Harel's Orb had it's paws (so to speak) in something ancient. Something about the Elves.
Not. The first... Breach.

I am right there with ya, Rel. I am simultaneously ready and not ready for this DLC.
Actually, I still have to finish the last two main quests with my main Inky but I will do that later.
I'm incredibly nervous about all of it.

I'm incredibly nervous about all of it.
I'm afraid of what might happen. The more I watch the trailer (and it's been helluva lot of times) the more uneasy I feel.
Oh, Good, I'm not the only one. I have seen the trailer quite a few times and I still don't know how I feel about it. I am excited for new dlc, but also nervous that they are going to kill off the Inquisitor.

There's a whole thread out there dedicated to saying that the best way to end it is to have the Inquisitor die.

I saw that thread and I was just like: Nope! My Inky is going to live happily ever after, damn it! Lol.

I hope they don't do that (well, at least they should give us the option for a "happy ending"). I want to think they've learned from the past...

Kill the Inquisitor! or some alternate definite ending to that character, none of this crap we get dragged through with the Hero of Ferelden pleeeeease..
But yeah, I think the Inquisition ends (best outcome maybe?), not necessarily the Inquisitor dying, but with the Mark being all sorts of wonderful now (sarcasm) somethings gonna happen.

Alternate definite ending I'm ok with, well depending on what is it.
Still no matter what happens I won't rage, if I don't like it I'll be sad or depressed and I'll drink, drink, drink.

I don't want my inquisitors to become something like Hawke in DAI but I still don't want them to die
So another HoF then? "and so-and-so disappeared not to be found until they're sent doing something way too interesting via codex or brought back for a possible death scene in the next game"
I just want Inquisitor fully wrapped up and never to show up again this time, I don't like my Warden travelling in Maker knows where, or my Hawke over in hell's-pit-2 (weisshaupt) hahaha. There is no actual ending! I need an ending, not any of this "head-canon until we bring them back and ruin said head-canon" stuff.
To put this in the right tone, you should see how much I'm laughing right now

Well I think there are this many possibilities to an end:
- Inquisition dissolves, Inquisitor dies/is killed
- Inquisition dissolves, Inquisitor lives
- Inquisition dissolves, Inquisitor loses mark
- Inquisition stands, (same as first)
- Inquisition stands, (same as second)
- Inquisition stands, (same as third
If there are another... well perhaps the inquisition dissolves and turns to be a new order (like before?)
But I think it dissolves. As Mother Giselle said almost in the beginning in Haven: "Perhaps Divine Justinia thought it best to bring the Inquisition, but when they were no longer needed, they'd put their swords down." (smth along these lines)
But I sure don't want my Inquisitor to die...
what would even be the point of doing a whole game just to have the character die at the end without any other choice in the matter?
Poor Cullen...

As I said before, a definite end to the character's story is all I want, doesn't need to be death for that to happen of course. Just don't want her dragged through any future games lol

Yeah, I don't want my Inky to turn into Hawke 2.0.

Yep, that's what my Shepard did. Now she's in some remote planet with Garrus, trying to find out what a turian-human baby looks like.I want a definite ending, just not a 'they died saving everyone' type end.
I want my Inky to say "Screw the Inquisition, I quit" then ride off into the sunset with Sera.

I never disliked what Bware did with the Hero of Ferelden. They keep him close enough, but far enough as to not become one of our main priorites (because that's the Inquisitor atm) but it gives off a feeling that he/she's not forgotten, but also not the spotlight
With Hawke I liked the experiment less...
But all in all what I wanted to say is that I don't dislike the dragging ![]()

I thought that was odd too. My canon Hawke is a blood mage who romanced Merrill.
