My excitement over seeing Donk back makes me seem overzealous, I'm sure, but I've never had trouble feeling like I belong here. This thread has always been welcoming.

People have always been very vocal about getting a happily ever after ending for DAI, I personally hope we didn't get that though..

I don't care if my Inquisitors die If it happens.. might even write a smutty fanfic where Sera mourns the loss of her lover, only to fall madly in love with Hawke.. and they live happily ever after, destroying every Dalish camp they can find. (kidding, that's a reference to my run of DA2 where Hawke kills the Dalish camp every single time) it was a beautiful sight to behold.. the contrast of blood explosions to the quaint, green forest background. True art.

I know! I've missed you all. I've become a little Andromeda-obsessed, and work is absolute chaos, but I do peek in. This thread is like a beacon. I really should remember to pop in more regularly, for the sake of my sanity at the very least.

Well I like my dwarf... but in some fucked up way, going on past decisions with our characters I don't see them handling it another way, not without a lot of whinging. But yeah.. going out with a BANG sounds good. A heroic sacrifice or something.

I attempted to post a serious, productive thread and it eventually got ignored under all of the garbage, so I made a little test thread and it was very popular

 

As I can gather upon my return, a lot of people have left due to the decision of taking away the off-topic section. So it will be quieter here.

It reminds me of Natashina's "favorite friendship arc" thread, lost to time. Sometimes interesting stuff can get buried underneath a lot of nonsense.

It's times like this that I miss Allan's presence around the forums.  I've said my piece about it, but it's now just getting rather ugly at this point.

This is why I mostly post in this thread and don't engage -- and when I do engage, it's a troll. But I troll to fight evil!!

The worst arguments have always been people substituting real-life concepts with Thedas stuff.  The same happens on other boards too. There's a special kind of internet-based species of knuckledraggers out there that are smart enough to realize that their views will get them instaBanned anywhere reputable and so they mask their poison with game stuff.  These boards are blessedly quiet on that front now, thankfully

I am looking forward to seeing how the Andromeda section develops over time, once it settles into a more regular routine that character threads can provide. And gets its own MP section. Seriously, it's like thrusting an entire high school football team together with the drama club into a tiny room.

Yeah.. there's a cycle though. That usually comes with news of a new DLC or game.. Frankly I'm surprised that it's quiet considering this upcoming one.

Agreed.. it will be much better when we know more. I don't understand why people are shitting all over it when there is very little info, other than the trailer, which doesn't really show much. I guess people are worried that it will be the same deal as DA:I -- that is, the open world and how the quests were implemented.. which even I personally thought sucked. Yes, I'm one of those "moar story plz" people But still.. no point making judgment until there is more info, better yet, when the game is released.

 

And yeah.. MP definitely needs to be a separate thing.

As far as I can tell, she has been stopping by more often. Every other day or every couple of days I think.
