Not banned games (okay, except for the Postal series, they definetly should unban that. That's valuable trash!) but all the edited stuff, due to 'sexual content' and what not. Whenever there's a conversation about censoring games in Germany, someone always trolls 'let's be glad we don't live in Australia' ;)

This makes me sad. Even the Germans know of our moronic policies on video games... did we lose a war!?

You must be really proud about it, as often as you mention it. :P
And the rebel in my kind of envies you.

Oh I'm just so bad-arse.

What do you think I tell girls when I try to impress them?

"I've got two warning points on the BSN."

LOL

Yeah, you don't want warning points. The one time a moderator's around, and you get a warning point due to misunderstandings.

Tell me about it...

Ironically, what I get warning points for pales in comparison to about 90 percent of what I post.

Did you just quote me before I found a mistake in one of my posts, before the half an hour editing process was finished?

...Take a drink, then. And let that be a lesson warning point to you.

I never heard of that. Only that EA's MMA game was banned in Denmark because of advertising some energy drink.

Wait, are we missing 'drink when someone expresses disappointment or disapproval at the OP's post, even though there are like 20 such posts in the thread already, and it just makes them look like a try-hard tool'?

Well, yeah, I do. The problem is, I find faults in them, and I just have to edit the post. And I'm not always looking, because usually I think what I said is already faultless.

If they ever make a movie about my life, they will call it, 'The Fault In My Posts'.

Fair enough... that sounds too stressful for me.

I just post the first thing that comes to mind... but that probably in turn, screws me.

Except if there's a spelling mistake.. then I change it real quick and hope nobody notices. ;)

But generally I never change my wording... book burning, censorship, etc.. not my thing.

Damn right we should~

I've heard that it's possibly even worse for you guys then it is for us.

With alcohol control maybe, but the people who do the game supervision just don't give any fucks about the censoring here is :'V If it's in the game originally, they assume people can handle it

Edit// And Denmarks policy with game is... interesting. They're very open minded with weed, prostitution and alcohol irl but get all touchy if there's product placement of any kind :')

Wot.

They suck at alcohol control!!

It's... oh, we'll just put a few anti-alcohol ads on the TV and hopefully they'll stop.

For some reason they have this bug up their arse about content in games... but this is how ridiculous they are;

They banned South Park: Stick of Truth a while back..yet recently, I picked up a copy at a well known game seller.

Well.. best way to combat the oppressors is a one fingered salute, a f*ck you, and play the Drinkquisition!!

Australia is really pathetic about alcohol. They go on and on about alcohol addiction, potential health problems and all that jazz... all through useless propaganda on TV, yet nothing changes. We continue to drink ourselves to oblivion, we continue to not give a ****... same with anything, really. They're like tryhard Nazis... they want to implement control but go about it in the weakest way possible.

Damn right my friend, damn right.

Oh, that sounds surprisingly like Finland. 'Our contry is full of alcoholist so let's make it insanly expencive and ban all the advertising everywhere'

Meanwhile normal Finns don't actually drink that much (when compared to other Europeans) and when we do, we usually go and get our beer across the bay from Estonia and so avoid all the taxes and bans all together.

Aaah, the glory of the 'Nursery Countries', am I right? Cheers for that~

Also new rule, drink every time someone mixes politics into this thread, this's getting too serious!

Well... I like to call it "nanny state" but same diff. ;)

Yes, yes, yes!!! Too serious... I don't like serious.

Oh, that isn't a new rule... I already made that one up..

And with that, I am out. May the drunken snore be with me.

Isn't that an Australian term? I swear I've heard that on the news, before. Never understood what the frick it meant.

Hm... wiki says that South Park 'just' got nanny-stated ;)

Germany and alcohol... I think people would riot if that got prohibited. But they make a real fuss when it comes to weed-legalisation. Questioned why alc is legal and weed isn't our deardear drug-caring-whatever-minister said, the big difference would be that you don't drink to intoxicate yourself. I didn't know that before.

*drinks without any getting-drunk-purpose*

Basically it's a morkery name for welfare states who 'take too much care' of their citizens (for example have free health care, free schools but also high taxes, strick and sometimes ridiculous laws, just 'hold their hands' in weird situations etc.)
