I guess when it comes to the mages vs templars war, I support the mages. I barely play as one though, I just support them. In fact this is probably why I enjoyed the notorious DA2 so much.. the dialogue options where you could pledge your support for them. And the idea of protecting your sister.

Also, be weary if they're asking you a lot of stupid questions. Maybe just paranoid, but in my previous experience that usually means they're intending to steal something. A group of people will go into the store separately, one will play as a distraction (asking you stupid questions, keeping you in one spot and focused on answering questions) while the others steal.

They'll actually do that to the managers. Ask to speak with one and then ask a bunch of questions while the rest of their crew steals stuff.
