I quit caffeine, worked a couple of years. Foolishly drank some pop and ruined my addiction. Tried it quitting again and had terrible migraines. Guess caffeine is a part of me from now on.

Soda? so was it sugar addiction, like I have, or caffeine? most soft drinks I drink contain no caffeine at all is why I ask.

 

Sugar's a factor, I'm sure. But I'm definitely addicted to the caffeine. I get withdrawal headaches when I don't have anything, and then the tea alleviates that.

A Dark 'N Stormy is a highball cocktail made with dark rum and ginger beer served over ice and garnished with a slice of lime.

Shitloads of running helped for me.

I got stuck in the cycle where caffeine was screwing with my sleep but at the same time, I needed it because I wasn't sleeping properly.
Running at night helped me sleep and jogging in the morning wakes me up with lots and lots stretching throughout the day has done wonders.

You could try mixing ginger beer with something else, but it wouldn't really be considered a Dark 'N' Stormy once you do. Two part cocktails can be hard to create variations of, due to their simplicity. Plus, everything dark enough to be a replacement in the cocktails aesthetic has a drastically different flavor from dark rum.

Colas are the big one, (Cola, Coca Cola, pepsi, Dr Pepper brands etc) with more then enough brands to look like the most common softdrink (certainly the most popular so therefore likely the most common). I drink other stuff. Fanta, Sprite, 7-up, Ginger Ales, Tonic waters, creaming soda, Solo all don't contain it. There's likely more that's just the range I drink. But where they lack caffeine, man some have sugar to burn bahaha. Glad I do a lot of running sometimes...

Better.  For the most part.  The show gets kinda boring and long in the tooth in the middle of the season BUT OMG THE PAY OFF *flails to death* and I love what they do to the characters in this show.
