Way I see it, the silly Euros were playing the game before the colonials even had any colonies to live in, or even really knew there was a continent there.  I figure that gives them a certain naming seniority, especially seeing how (probably) everyone else in the world calls it "football" as well.

Definitely red, however the shade changes depending on the lighting in the area I'm taking screenshots/watching/playing lol.. it gets distracting sometimes.

I did end up making her hair one shade darker red after killing Corypheus, just before JoH and Descent were done on that character. I prefer that change for her.

It could just be the shade of red you chose, there's actually 4 different 'red' hair colour choices, I personally like the slightly deeper one to get that real red sheen to it (2nd last hair colour option). Sadly there doesn't seem to be a very bright ginger/red one (lighter shade).

Yeah, but she's an Elf. Elves are usually smaller.

 

Sera is very tall for an Elf. And... quite well endowed for one.

Heights are weird in the game because most of the time someone's feet are sunk in the ground. According the game code, Lady Lavellan is 5'4" and (get this) Solas is 6'.
