Well, ****. If this isn't a bee in my bonnet. Cassie became Divine in Verana's playthrough. She's rocking some seriously brutal plaideweave armor and an equally impressive custom crafted weapon. Now her and Verana are pretty tight, so I am sure I'll be able to get her to come and play in Trespasser (hopes) but I have no idea who my fourth should be now. Blackwall? Iron Bull? I had this all planned out!
Honestly, it confuses me anyway. Freed the mages and supported Leliana. I know there is more to it, but I figured that would have tipped the scales. Oh well, choices matter even if I'm not sure which choices they were, so at least I got that going for me.
Now I have to make more plaideweave armor for whomever I pick
ETA: You know, Stormy, Cookie has an air of authority around here that Kyrrah lacks. Now, I don't mean Kyrrah isn't intimidating, because she is, but Cookie just radiates something. An intangible that's hard to pin down and put into words.
Blackwall has my vote...but seeing him in plaideweave should be pretty novel....if only they had kilt armor ![]()

I get that vibe off her too, I like to think it's because she was actually trained, and raised, to be a leader and is her Keeper's First (so takes over as Keeper when current one retires/dies). Where-as my pissed off mage, Kyrrah, was raised and taught to follow orders and the Chantry's rules, not to lead.
Badass pic of awesomeness!

*sighs* I'll never be able to match your pictures, Stormy.

Okay. You're the new DQer so I'll let your choice rule the day on this one.
So people are having gif sex in this thread...?

Lol. JK. But seriously, that should not be a thing.
*insert interesting segue here* So I am working on getting my Artificer ready for the DLC and I feel your pain Ash. He wants to do everything. Lol.

*Beren falls down in a fit of giggles* Sorry Verse, I couldn't resist! FWIW, I'll come back and like your post when I get some more. Stormy's pic just took my last one.

Ok, that was a good one. I was expecting something dirty but then... it's a cat... Lol.

I hate trying to rind missing ocularums anywhere. I usually end up getting frustrated and googling their locations.
Edit: Oh good. ![]()
And here I was happy as a pig in slop when I stumbled across my first one in the Frostback Basin. Was all, *squee* SHARDS! Yes, I am weird.
Crafting a new staff for Verana from ice dragon bone® and cannot decide on the rune. Spirit or corrupting? Dragon, cleansing, and demon are too limiting for a general use staff, though I do have them all in superb quality, so if someone can make a good argument for them, I'll listen.
Boring running around collecting shards.. so..
Pony pics!
And.. how not to slide down a cliff:

I always use Spirit, most helpful one as all-rounder rune in my opinion. I also don't like throwing red lyrium at people lol.
That reminds me I have to go craft a decent spirit rune for Kyrrah's staff, somehow I forgot to do that..
Well, I like to think that if Sandal was okay with making a rune out of red lyrium in DA2 then it's probably acceptable to use. Sandal's a righteous dude, after all, so if he thinks it's okay, who am I to argue.
Yeah yeah, I know, that one didn't spew out corrupting damage. DON'T MESS WITH MY HEADCANON!
All that said, yes, I think I will go with spirit. Good all around damage dealer.

I would also suggest Spirit Rune for your mage's staff. I think it is the best one for mages because it affects most enemies unlike Corrupting Runes which only gives a damage boost when fighting humans.
Wait I know why I didn't do the rune, got to open the final spirit chamber in forbidden oasis for the last pure spirit essence I need to craft it.
StormQueen always uses spirit runes for mages.. except during the point of the game where she's slaughtering all the dragons.

What now? I thought it affected anything living. Humans, red templars, darkspawn, fennecs, dragons, etc. The only thing I thought it didn't effect was undead and demons. Crap on a stick, I... gah!
I'm not scared of you, really I'm not!

Hey, I got elfroot! Lots and lots of elfroot!

Red templars are already corrupted, so a no to them/ darkspawn are corrupted so a no there.
Corrupting Rune: humanoids, beasts, animals.
Spirit rune: bonus damage (spirit) to every weapon strike. Spirit wins always for me.
Always wondered why that redundant cleansing rune existed. Now I know. IT'S NOT F-ING REDUNDANT.
*Beren pads off to a quiet table and drinks alone with his sad mood*

haha yeah. Cleansing rune for Darkspawn and red templars. aka: the stuff corrupting rune sucks against.
*hugs Beren*
*running around Emerald Graves for final shards for Kyrrah*
I CLAIM THIS BED! it has an awesome view..

You could always read the rune descriptions at the crafting table.Always wondered why that redundant cleansing rune existed. Now I know. IT'S NOT F-ING REDUNDANT.
