Once you get to Velen, you can get on your horse and rush all the way to Novigrad where you can pay to see some a*s. Warning, technically you have to get a pass to get into that part of the country, but you can just swim right past the gate.

Continuing from my ME 3 days I have not even started my *canon8 playthrough yet.  Won't until all the DLC is out...which since all the DLC is actually out or will be soon, actually leaves me in a bit of a pickle.
