Hey guys,

 

I am also wondering what is up with the Trials. Has anyone tried them? I want to get the new achievements but I have no idea how hard it will be and that makes me nervous. *drinks*

 

So, how is everyone today?

 

I've started Elu over to try to of them.  Going for the get to Skyhaven by level 5 (trial of the fool) which will need you to have "take it slow" trial setting on,  and also the one to get to the Winter Palace with all followers which requires "fair weather friends" trial setting to be active.  Cassie has  tanked FAST, but she can't leave regardless, so thank the maker  there.  "I'm an elf, a dalish elf."  *Cassandra greatly disapproves*  Whoops.

Didn't even bother with those or really most of the side junk. Last dlc, can't continue to play afterwards, not worth it.

I am going to have to start a new PT to do the fair weather friends one and I have a feeling it is going to take some serious ass kissing to get people to not leave. Lol. That is going to be an annoying achievement to try to get.

 

I think some of the trial ones I can just turn on the trial and get the achievement in a playthrough that is already started. I am going to work on those first, then try for the harder ones like the 'get to Skyhold at level 5' one. I am glad that they added new achievements but trying to get them all is going to be exhausting. Sometimes I really hate being a completionist. *drinks*

Yeah, for example the one with the great bears.  I think you can just 'flick the switch' on that grizzly end setting, go whack the ten great bears (or die trying) and boom, done.

Greet the sun, Elu Thingol v2.  I've tried to make him as close to the original as possible.  Still a little worried about this "fair weather friends" challenge.  You cannot enable that from the main menu as the trials options simply don't exist in the settings there.  You can only enable it -after- already having an approval conversation wtih Cassie right outside the Chantry while still in chains.  I had hoped there would be a time during CC to do so, but alas there isn't.  *shrug*  Oh well, it's the best I can do.
