Still haven't played Trespasser but I missed you guys, thought I'd check in. I'm close though.. kinda. I finished Wicked Eyes, Wicked Farts last night and now I'm levelling up in my second least favourite part of the game.. Emprise Di Lion.

I have a newfound appreciation for Dragon Age: Inquisition. I am enjoying it far more than I ever have.. and I dunno why. I think they may have patched the levelling system?

It's much more rewarding than I could remember. Also, Descent was great. I found Aldruin's armour.. (a character featured in the Stolen Throne) and a schematic for a badarse legion of the dead armour.

I seem to be levelling a lot faster from the last time I played. I'm level 20 atm.. and only have three zones to clear plus the main story (Mythal, Coryphyshit, etc)

 

At this point.. from what I could remember, I'd only be a level 16. Come to think of it though.. I'm doing more side quests and have killed six dragons. So that could be it.. Also, seem to be getting more power than before.

Oops.. why I got them confused, I have no idea. Losing my mind, I tell you!

 

Evidently not. I've been playing non stop.. but I need to charge my controller, so I thought I would call in. I'm over my little hissy fit the other day LOL.

I haven't noticed any difference in the levelling. Maybe it solely is you for some reason enjoying it more. But then i am oblivious to a lot of slight changes still.

 

I do know exp gain depends on the difficulty level. I always level slower on Nightmare, and extremely fast on Casual.

I imagine turning on 'Even Ground' will really help with levelling, like... a lot.

Usually it's the other way around. I play on normal.

And after that.. may go for another playthrough. I already have an elf ready.. I've decided to opt for something different, I made an elf to romance Solas. Cause why the hell not?

It's interesting.. drama shall ensue.

 

Only problem is.. she looks juvenile. Pretty though.

Drama indeed. (Someone help my poor Artemis) I actually made a character before Staches (GASP), but totally scrapped him because he looked like he was sixteen and it was freaking me out. He actually just looked like a sixteen year old version of Staches.

I used to be scared to take on dragons but now I'm loving it. It's also handy having Solas around.. his rift mage techniques obliterate anything. Vivienne is now on the bench and staying there.. she wants a snowy wyvern heart but I usually trick her.. I wonder, if it's worth being nice to her, preempting Trespasser..

Pfft not your fault. They are fugly! I had trouble too.. I just got lucky with this one I guess. I find the easiest to make are dwarves.. and Qunari are the hardest.

 

My Qunari always end up looking like humans with horns.. My humans generally look similar..

Rift Mage tears everything apart. It's incredible. And don't worry about being nice to Viv. She shows up in Trespasser no matter.

Vivienne is the same, either way. It affects majority of the others, for if you get their friendship scene or not, and how they address you. Also for one or two, it affects if they even show up.
