Hey Guys, what's up?

Now I know people are doin gmultiple run throughs of Tresspasser but have they taken the same character through more then once?

I did Trespasser twice with my canon Inky, Kenzi because I found out that I missed some things and also to record banter and romance stuff with Sera. I haven't done the dlc with any of my other Inkys because they are all so far away from being done the main game. 

 

Well, ****.  Cole just met me on the bridge into Skyhold and told me to feck off, made me forget, then blinked out.  *Sighs and reloads first arrival at Skyhold save and tries to figure out how to keep the flaky bastard around*

 

But first, chili!  *goes off to make yummy chili*

Just don't talk to them at Skyhold. If you don't talk to them, they can't leave, right?

Damn it. There goes my plan to get that achievement. Lol. I may just not bother with that one because it seems like it will be really hard to get.

 

I did start a new game to do the Trial of the Fool one, but I have a feeling I am going to have to skip lots of stuff to get the achievement and I hate skipping stuff.

I guess that could work. I may just end up deleting her character after I get the achievement because I will have missed a lot. I'm still not sure if I can recruit followers after I get to Skyhold, but I hope I can. If I end up liking my character, I may just turn off 'Take it Slow' and continue her PT. I haven't decided yet...

 

ETA: What? No. I'm still here, just had to go get a Kleenex. Having a cold really sucks.

If you want a couple of tips...

I looked into that.  You have ONE window of opportunity to take him with you to improve relationship.  If you leave Skyhold, he confronts you  the moment you come back if approval is low enough.  No escaping it.  So I reloaded my initial "just got to Skyhold"  save where I'm standing in the wrecked main hall.  Took Cole with my party back to the Hinterlands and did a few quests I'd not done beforehand.  He approved of turning in ram meat, supply caches, widow's ring, uh... one other.  Oh!  Going BACK to Hyndal the elf in that cult fortress and having Solas special convo option him convince him to return home after having already taken cure back to mom (protip, kinda need Solas in party for that one )

 

I quicksaved after that and went back to Skyhold.  No confrontation.  But he still won't just chat with me.  I ask him to  tell me about his past.  "No."  So I'm walking on eggshells around him for the time being, but at least immediate exit crisis averted for now.  I would suggest keeping him in your party at all times for awhile and quicksaving before conversations, etc.

 

Regarding Trial of the Fool...

I got that one last night.  Barely.  I had less than 300xp left to go before hitting level 6 when Cory walked through the flames at me in Haven.  That's just a handful of codex entry readings, to put that in perspective.  The only things I permanently missed out on were clearing out the templars and mages in the Hinterlands on my own.  They auto-clear if you don't do it before Champions of the Just/In Hushed Whispers.  I also didn't  see Dorian in the chantry, though I  did go ahead and go to Redcliffe to at least  get Clement the tranquil agent. 

 

One thing I did that I am sure saved me was, embarrassingly, I farmed requisitions.  Quicksave, ask for requisition.  Anything but geological survey, reload and ask again.  I did IIRC five or six of my power points that way.  Had I gone around to four more rifts to gain power, the experience killing the demons would have put me over the top.  It's dicey.  just make a lot of hard save points.  You can always delete the clutter once you get the achievement.

I may just skip the Fairweather Friends one for now. It just seems like a huge hassle to me. I will probably do it once the other achievements are done, but for now I am not going to bother and spare myself the headache.

Go into settings/option when you have a character loaded and you will see a new group "Trials."  They're just interesting challenges you can set for yourself.  Two of  them require a new character, though.  I think just two.

maybe I'll make a new character soon. As I made a thread, I want to try and be a wh*** and see how many romances I can mix before settling. I'll probably make a warrior because its the only one ive not bothered getting far in...but I was loving my dual dagger rogue - then again I love having cole around for banter. Also I'm not sure on what race to make...hmmm
