Do you guys pay for each semester in the UK?

I have X amount of semesters free (ie paid for by the government) but then I have to pay. As I recall, though, it's only like 12 grand a semester, or maybe 15. Something like that. Impossible to compare.

Y'know, I feel like I might owe an explanation for my behaviour in one of the threads. It's a lot about me, but since Trespasser kind of lit the spark again, I'm spoilering it, because it is somewhat relevant to Trespasser - at least for me. Also, it mentions what is a spoiler in the DLC.

And why I said I'd prefer death over dismemberment. No worries. I'll keep it short.

 

I've recently went through a very... dark part of life. I was kicked out of college, and some bad sh*t followed. I lost all hope, and it very nearly pushed me over the edge. If such a thing did what it did - I haven't recovered until... very, very recently - I think losing an arm might actually send me over the edge. Bam. Splat. No more me. It's hilariously easy to die, when you think about it. Except, well, you know, it's not hilarious at all.

 

Anyway, I put a piece of myself in the game. In my character, Arianne.

And while the way I roleplayed her, she would never want to die (I chose the option. She does not want to die. Not knowing she's necessary, but she doesn't want to die at the age of 20-22, regardless of being needed to save Thedas) and probably would take the option to live at the cost of an arm.

 

But. IT. WILL. NEVER. STOP. BUGGING. ME.

Because of how I am. I am weird in this. I accept the fact - there are too many proofs for me to claim otherwise. But that's just how I am, and 'tis my burden to live with.

But if I was the Inquisitor, I would forever regret losing an arm.

If I was an XCOM Operative, I would never volunteer to become a MEC Trooper, or volunteer for genetic modifications.

If I lived in literally any gaming world, I would never volunteer for cybernetic enhancements of any sort.

 

Funnily enough, speaking of XCOM, I would gladly become a Psi Operative. The weird, weird me, right.

Yeah, I have the government pay my tuition fees, which equal out to £7500 a year.

Hey guys,

 

I finally got the Trial of the Fool achievement. Woo!

 

*takes a shot then immediately deletes her level 5 Inky that just got to Skyhold*

 

Now I can redo my canon Inky... again

 

I hard saved last night ready to rock and roll Wicked Eyes with fair weather friends on.  Half way between level 7 and 8!  I may  play all inkys from now on with take it slow and even ground enabled.

 

Upstairs neighbours are remodeling something. The hammers and circular saws won't let me even think. I want to throw them out the airlock.
