Pfft that is old news, sweetheart. I came back from the hiatus ages ago. I just haven't been on as much lately because I've been Inquisiting. I worked my butt off to get to Trespasser, and I've finally played it. Well worth it.

 

No offence to Poodle but.. no wonder people are going retarded.

There is a 'room' more like an alcove over by the main crafting area with all the tables and the Goden Nug, just like on one side of the map. Has the wardrobe and other things like storage.

Anyways Tresspassers has done several odd things to me, making me not want to play Inquisition anymore and just leave it at that one perfect memory, but also making me really want to play Inquisition, mainly the DLC over and over and over again, while also dreading the 'open world' areas more somehow, and also for the first time making me really want to start the series over from the beginning.  Even from Origins.  See if I can't connect the dots anymore.  And I believe you guys know how I feel about Origins.

Anyways Tresspassers has done several odd things to me, making me not want to play Inquisition anymore and just leave it at that one perfect memory, but also making me really want to play Inquisition, mainly the DLC over and over and over again, while also dreading the 'open world' areas more somehow, and also for the first time making me really want to start the series over from the beginning.  Even from Origins.  See if I can't connect the dots anymore.  And I believe you guys know how I feel about Origins.

I just had the same feeling with ME's The Citadel DLC.

And as a lot of people say Trespasser feels like that, I'm really looking forward to play it. And I am also happy that I know it will take a while till I get there. Afraid of the void

Its just so hard to rate and talk about Tresspassers without me coming off as a raging fan boy but to me this single DLC may have been one of the most transformative entertainment experiences I have ever played.  I mean don't want to oversell it and then get you dissapointed from raised expectations but A. it was the perfect exclamation point to the end of Inquisition.  It put the whole game in context, even the whole Dragon Age series to this point.  B. it may've made Dragon Age Inquisition my favorite game of all time now.  C.  It has made the Dragon Age Series my preffered series between it and Mass Effect.  D. It has really changed the way I look at the Dragon Age games from a thematic and liberty perspetive.  And E.  It was probably the most emotional piece of entertainment I have ever consumed.  And this is someone who was balling during Sleeping in Light and when Ten regenerated into eleven.  And I am not just talking about sadness, there was joy and triumph in there. A sense of hope, and bring it on for the future.

Mate I was blown away.

 

I had mixed feelings about the game.. but ever since I played all the DLCs (even JoH and Descent were great) my opinion has changed. It is a good game. I still think that the open world angle doesn't work for BW.. I noticed that Descent and Trespasser were very linear, in the vain of say Origins or even the ME series. This is what works best for them.

 

I mean, the open worlds could be fun. Especially if you get right into the combat side of things, leveling up and getting good loot is very satisfying. Killing dragons is a blast and is addictive.. But I dunno. Maybe there is a decent middle ground somewhere.

 

I started a new playthrough.. with a different world state. The worst possible (or best, depending how you view it) where Logain is alive, Alistair gets killed, Leliana "gets killed" Male Hawke romances Anders because why the hell not?

 

My actions this time around will be completely different. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
