Yeah.. repairing weapons pissed me off too. Big time. I mean sure, the idea is realistic.. but they wear down too easily. In a way I don't believe is realistic.. which kills the realism.
But the devs did point out that Geralt isn't supposed to be rich.. cause it makes no sense for a Witcher to be a loaded millionaire. So obviously things are in place in the game.. that ensures you are broke-arse.
Have you tried modding it? Might make it more enjoyable for you.

Depends. Personally I usually get Wicked Farts done to get it over and done with. But I think it makes more sense, story-wise, to get Here Lies the Abyss done, considering Hawke shows up and offers to help out so there is implied urgency there..

Well... I'm versatile. One for every aspect I like. Even though DA:I didn't serve my booby needs. Had no female romance (which I just figured. What the?!) Eh... nevermind. All great characters but no LI for me.
