Oh hey, it's Geek McSneak. Welcome back. Pull up a pew or other suitable seating device.
Snip
Geek McSneak. That's a new one. ![]()
Sighs Well, since I was last here, my download for the trial has gone from 13 to an impressive 28%. Seriously, what's up with this download speed? Last time it was downloaded in no time. I feel like it's being throttled. I have nothing going on that would make it so slow.
And I'm out of alcoholic beverages. Someone, scotch me.
*steps behind the bar rummaging for more cider*
A whole bottle while I'm back here Geek McSneak? or just a glass?
How you been, by the way? you've been gone for ages!
Heyyy.... is that... some new blood? Welcome!
Thanks. I've done a few posts but they are few and far between. Maybe when things slow down a bit.
Anyhoo, I've got a new Adaar named Margarita. I'm not sure if this is funny or terrible.

Love the name for your Qunari ![]()
Hey Ash, at work of late we have been having an Apple Cider problem. Every time its mentioned I smile knowingly. ![]()
The other two DA games had a soundtrack? Huh. Inon Zur's music was totally forgettable. It did nothing to me. When playing DAO or DA2, I always turn off the music and listen to my own. *drink*
You know I do. You've seen him. You see him every time I make a post.
Spoiler
Night shift remember so really I'm on Australian time.
Indeed. I actually like being on Australlian time considering I like Australlians. ![]()

I have an apple cider problem too! I'm addicted to the stuff. So tasty..
But, you knew that
*tackle-hugs Foley*
Currently re-writing Kyrrah's post in the Inquisitor Corner . trying to get it less messy and more info. Then I'll think about putting Cookie up there too.

hello. ![]()
Ours is less addiction more we do not know what to do with the stuff. We are completly renovating the store and there has been this case of apple cider that has been kicking around...I want to say all week. And we cannot find a place for it. It has 'no home' I imagine it does but with all the nonsense going around of late it may not have one now. Also on this subject its weird, the worse I feel the better I seem to do at my job. lol.
That would be because being busy helps you keep your mind of feeling like ****. Well, that's my usual case anyway.
Oh a case of apple cider without a home? I know a home for it... ![]()
Kidding, kidding ![]()

No that's not it. Usually. Mind you I felt excited at one point and was trying to dodge management and stuff so I kinda...uh...sprinted back to where I was supposed to be and then when I got there I was all gasping for breath and was like "I have made....a terrible...mistake".
Bolt! *tackle-hugs*

I had some liquid inspiration.
I'm thinking Iron Bull romance.
I know there is one Stormheart in that area that I have never been able to find, to loot, but I'm not sure if it was that one or not.
Oh.. before I forget.
*hugs* Thanks, sis! It always warms fries electrocutes my heart when you show me that you care. ![]()

Sounds like a plan! plus, that sort of inspiration is the best sort of inspiration. My Inquisitors tend to get hit with bird related names.
*hugs* Thanks, sis! It always warms my heart when you show me that you care.
*hugs slightly smoking Beren*
Now I have Sweet Child o' mine stuck in my head, thanks to Beren's signature..
I usually just start with names and just think on it until one sticks with me. Usually they are related to some sort of celebrity or character reference.

I love exotic sounding names, or bird related names. Here's a very short list of some of my favourites, whether I actually use them or not is another matter.
Jovan - Majestic
Chantara - 'song' pretty much.
Dante - enduring
Meriel - black bird (irish name apaprently)
Kyrrah - a name for the magpie, a black and white swooping bird native to Aust.
ergh on Magpies, walking home from the shopping centre today with both hands carrying grocery bags and a flippin' magpie decides to swoop me, and hover above my head cawing at me until I'd gotten across the road (nesting season recently started, it's called swooping season or magpie season for a reason too). The last time it swooped me, it bumped into the back of my head and pancaked itself on the ground next to me. so funny.

...*starts giggling...by the end of the post laughing madly* Well I guess Alistair was right after all.
Meh my favorite names from a sound standpoint have probably been Kara and Abigail. Me and my girlfriend once had a fight when I named my Warden Malcolme.

I remember primary school, say back when I was 10/11 years old. Riding to school on my bicycle with zippy ties stuck to my helmet and trying not to get knocked off my bike by the crazy magpie that was a overly energetic dive-bomber / swooper.
Lol, Malcolme..

What is so bad about Malcome?
Absolutely nothing!
you saw my weird-as name choices haha ![]()
I usually rely on the name generators here, especially for elves or Qunari: http://nine.frenchboys.net/
There are exceptions such as Margarita Adaar and Strawberry Lavellan, though.
Maybe someday I'll figure out how to post pictures.
Professional tech sucks at forums. <--It'll probably be etched in my tombstone.

I was looking for something who sounded like a nobly noble noble man....Mal seemed to fit the description. And then she thought I named him after Malcom Reynolds of Firefly fame. WHo she hates because he is played by Nathan Fillion.
I love this scene.
