I always use Alix for a female Inquisitor, only exception is Qunari where I use the other lady option.

Mmmm. ![]()
Um.. what was I saying?
Oh.. yeah.
I used the American female accent for my dwarves and Qunaris.. while it is a good voice, some of the lines were off. And jeezusfuck the pickup lines.. ![]()
I also have issues with the voices in general.. the UK accent (Traynor's VA) is only really fitting for a human.. I suppose it could work for a surface dwarf that maybe picked up the accent in her time dealing with humans. I don't find it fitting for an elf though, considering the elves have Irish accents. (Post Origins.)
My male Qunari has the UK accent.. and I just headcanon that him being a Tal Vashoth, he grew up around humans so picked up that accent. Even though it's a bit posh.
You like Kirrah too? it's definitely those sliders then... she was my main Quizzy when i first started chatting in this thread.
The voice options get me a lot, I try to pick one that suits the character whoever he/she is. but sometimes reroll solely because the voice gets on my nerves etc.
*dances around the Tavern singing loudly as she turns the jukebox back on*

I wonder what we all sounded like in our heads in DAO. I guess I just sounded like me. Then again, I'm a woman and I mostly role women. Hmmm. Never really thought about it.
Gotta say though, I did love sarcastic/funny Hawke as my fav everytime with the F/Hawke Isa romance...but I couldn't get the male voice to work for me ever.
Finally played him as a gay chantry goody two shoes, but he was so annoying I just hooked him up with Anders. Really never got that voice to work.
Roled 9 female playthrus with all variances, but only made it thru with one guy, and I really wish I could have cheerfully strangled him at the end. He was the only Hawke that died in Inquisition.
*swoons*
Love the pic spam Invernesse! she's still gorgeous!

I read all my Talia Amell's lines (warden of course) in the voice of the lead singer of Halestorm .. roflmao.
Oddly enough, I associate a lot of their songs with my Hawke, not my warden.
Halestorm: I miss the misery , is one of them
Night DQ. Jumping from 360 to X Box One...can't believe I'm saying this, but I felt like I was just playing an Atari 2600.
Damn.
Still was a fantastic experience. Even if it didn't have the depth the One has to offer. Can't wait to play the DLC.
Couch surfing for a week.
Love you DQ.
Nite.
I've missed my nightly shots of DQ and DA:I and Patron silver;)

I never really liked the female American VA at first, but then I tried using it for a Qunari and it really seemed to fit her, so I also used it for my dwarf. I am actually really liking her voice but it can sound a little flat sometimes. I always use the British female VA for my lady elves because I don't think the other one fits for them. I have never tried using the American male voice because I like the British male voice so much better.

LMAO. That's exactly what I felt going from PS3 to PS4. ![]()

Yeah I hated it at first.. sometimes it does feel flat. And I dunno.. I like to play a sarcastic, cynical and funny character and that voice just doesn't cut it, as opposed to say, female Hawke from DA2.
The British male voice is awesome! It gives him a personality. One male character I made, I gave him the American VA and it was just boring. It's reminiscent of male Shep.. I ended up deleting the character.

Good news: my return to the ring was a success. Won by TKO late in the second round with my favourite punch: the liver shot.
Bad news: my shoulder that was bugging me all week hurts like a motherfucker now.
If I only I weren't still dieting I could drink too pain away.
Still, I won so shots on me.
Not my favourite Halestorm track but Lzzy Hale
Hey buddy!!
Long time no see. HOW AWESOME IS:

Have I mentioned how much I love Harry Hadden-Paton's voice? He says a lot of those sarcastic lines the same way I would. I just love it so damn much.
I love both the brits myself.
His Cullen, and Solas's voice.
Samson! ![]()

Poor ****** Samson I enjoyed his character in 2. And then Inquisition happened...
