Mornin'! What'd I miss?

Huh. I've just been quoted from the "Why can't we just...join Solas?" thread *ugh* in some other Group that's blocked to me.  So now I don't know what they are saying about that *looks shifty and paranoid*

Need me to investigate?

NATO Days are progressing - or so I'm told. I didn't visit for a second year in a row now.

I know! I only had to write one line while scribbling ideas and started humming/singing the bloody thing. Thought I'd share this catchiness. lol

Well the notes I was scribbling was meant to be Kyrrah thinking about him, so yeah. the song got stuck in my head because it's pretty much the same, lyrics wise, as I was writing at the time. Cannot get it out of my head. ugh.

*snort*

For some reason I am not thinking about writing my post Tresspasser one shot involving Kara and Cullen and him helping her to learn to do certain things.  ;)  Now if you have played Tresspasser you know what I mean, if you haven't, then this sounds dirty.

I haven't actually reached Conclave yet in writing. Well, I am just editing that bit now actually. This is meant to be while in Haven, I'm not planning any further then that until I playthrough again.

Wait are you doing a novelization for DA I?

I have occasionally thought about it for both DA I and ME 3...in particular.  Mostly so I can change the ending and do other certain things the way I would want to. :P  I had a friend who was thinking about doing a complete re write of ME from the beginning.

In a sense yeah, it's Kyrrah's story, so the game's events plus stuff that happens between events in the game. Or her thoughts during major events etc. So small snippets each time around the size of the one I posted in the writer's pit a little while back, but probably lots of them. I've wanted to do this style for a while now, only just getting into motivated writing though. I'm trying not to change anything about what happens in the game, just to add to it hoping to deepen my character a little.

Only thing I would change is the ending and maybe shorten the presentation on some of the zones.  Also a lot more banter and talk between the characters.

it was interesting.  pure moffat for better or worse

I've described it as the least Doctor Who episode of Doctor Who ever.  It felt quite different in many ways.  But still good!

That depends, Ole DAMP Buddy, if you can access the necessary data space.

I do solemnly swear and affirm that without likes I must again use wording to indicate my supportification of this endeavour.  I find lots of short, focussed works much easier to manage than anything truly lengthy.  /snerk

Easier to write, and read, when it's in short bursts. In my opinion anyway.

It did feel a little off.  BUT it still felt like Who.  I mean MOffat is great with two things.  Timey Wimey, and big huge philosophical ethical arguments.  I love him as a writer.  He is my second favorite tv writer of all time.  BUT then he tends to not get the little itty bitty details wrong from time to time.

Nay. I lack permissions.

Shall I kill someone in order to steal their access card...?

I've thought about writing a DA:I parody. But I also have ideas for an original story floating around in my head. Just a matter of actually writing it.

Original Original or original based on DA I story?

Anyways Foley is off to Witcher land for the forseable future and then gonna try and get some work done.

I was leaning towards that myself.

Original original. Heavily inspired by Dragon Age and other different concepts I've dabbled in over the years lol. My only concern is I don't want it to be a shameless "rip-off" of anything.. but then again, isn't that how fiction has evolved?

How many different fantasy books have been published that are all inspired by Lord of the Rings, for instance?

They all have elves, dwarves and other typical fantasy stuff included.. so hey, would it be that bad?

Yes.. what's the word?

Procrastination. Thinking about doing something.. but wasting time doing something else instead. My mind is in overdrive, I feel inspired but alas, I'm on here talking about it instead.. and before, I was busy designing my elf inquisitor for one of my future runs. Will show screenies when I can be fucked putting them on the external hard drive and uploading them. :P

I must say, Trespasser has fueled my imagination.
