I was wondering, because my elf is going to romance Solas.. is there any prerequisites?

I.e when I first picked up the game last year I nearly tore my hair out because I couldn't get the Sera romance.. turned out all I had to do was use one dialogue option.

 

Now I had an argument with Solas about elves last night so I'm a bit funny about talking to him I mean, I do know he approves of asking questions about fade and spirits. So basically all I wanna know is.. is there anything I have to say or do to get the romance?

(though her responses are satisfactory enough) and the only other romance I have done, is Cassandra's.. and she doesn't say much until a certain point. I find that easier than you seem to. The removing of both eyeballs with my bare fingers would help a great deal in that endeavour, admittedly.

Needless to say, yes, I too am glad to see you around again. I have been avoid this place because of spoilers for the DLC I still haven't even touched, but obviously now I caved in and went back anyways. Your friend request may or may not have inspired this at least partially, according to more or less reliable unnamed sources.

Different. It was alright, I guess, though some people didn't like it. I still enjoyed it.

 

It's not necessarily a case of straightening things up. Shepards trilogy has ended after all. Drew was lead writer on Mass Effect 1, and co-writer on Mass Effect 2. He has experience with the start of that universe, and can develop it in his own way that fits with what is already there, because he put it there in the first place.

Yeah, but it's that kind of self-serving smartassery, not the brighten-the-mood, actually-accomplish-something-positive kind. Even Sten's lectures were him wanting to "improve" your character, at least according to his worldview. Solas has that same "fun-at-parties"-vibe as Sebastian Vael or Fenris - I know that some like that in a character, but whenever the two actually do laugh, they're mostly the only ones in the room.

 

Don't get me wrong, I like Solas, but it's actually when he decides to be funny when I like him the least.
