Apparently it's DQ hate on some random DA characters day. I'm all for it, we need days like this to break up our usual .. stuff, and add to our drinking.

Anders died somewhere between Awakening and 2. That was a Demon of Vengeance, possessing his dead body.

Merril and her ball of yarn because she keeps getting lost. I loved that sole little bit about her, because I get lost a lot and wish it were as easy as rolling a bit of yarn around wherever I go so I can find my way back

Okay now, some things I picked up on by detailed research on the "Promoted" Perk:

 

Here is what Elu Thingol is rocking right now.  I've already received Trial of the Emperor, but I like walk softly, so I'm keeping it.  He did previously have fair weather friends, but I saw no advantage, and a lot of disadvantages, to keeping it after earning Trial of the Lovers, so I turned that one back off after earning the achievement.  I will temporarily enable the others for the appropriate portion of Emprise du Lion.  Rest Easy isn't a big deal for him anyway as he doesn't care for magic crap, so doesn't use the mark regardless.  In fact, I need to remove that from his toolbar.

 

I can safely say all inkys will run with Even Ground, Walk Softly, and Take It Slow always on from now on.  It makes for a much funner game.

I've only had them once (well mini Reese's), during my internship in the newborn ward because a doctor brought them after a conference in the US.

That's exactly how I roll - normally.

 

Though I admit I turned it off versus the Hakkon Temple boss fight, because four lvl 27 Elite Mages with impeccable self-sufficient Barriers, OHK Ice Mines everywhere x4 and constant dispell; two lvl 27 Elite Avvar Champions (they are a different kind than the normal 2H brutes) was simply too much for me to handle. I saw absolutely no way, not going to lie.

 

 

He was pretty good in Awakening.

I like Anders. He is one of the best (not most likeable) characters in the DA verse, as far as I'm concerned.

 

He would have made a great villain with a great origin story. Someone who may actually "get" to you, rather than an evil guy who looks evil, likes evil and hates good.

OH, hey, I forgot to mention that I found a sigil, er, Sunday night IIRC, maybe last night, that I think will actually be worth using!  Yes!  Out of thirteen (so far) unique sigils Elu has collected, this is the only one worth anything.  IMHO.

Same here. Merrill is OK at best, a nonentity at worst for me.
That said, I did always like her banters with Isabela. Not that I'm biased or anything.
