Without saying anything spoilerish, I have gotten the feeling from reading a lot of posts that the Solasmancers have a more profound experience. Yes, I think I can leave it at that.

From what I have seen of the Solas romance in Trespasser, it is kind of depressing (I have never done it myself, but saw it on YouTube)

I am trying to complete my favourite character's romances right now. I am currently romancing Bull, Dorian and I just finished my Cass romance playthrough. I may try to romance Blackwall or Solas but I really have zero interest in them romance-wise so it could be a chore for me to romance them.
I would have suggested not doing a Solas-romancer through trespasser first, but that's just me.

I've played through before with my Bull-romancing Lavellan. That character was the biggest goody two-shoes to ever goody a shoe. This one...not so much.

Depends on the person I guess. I personally preferred my friendships with Solas. Guess its all simply how attached to that romance you are. I'm attached to the friendship between Solas and Inquisitor so that one touched me more deeply then my romance run-through did.

Ugh, Solas romance is hard because it has so much less content than the others, so you basically get 3 scenes with him over like the whole game.

Yeah, I almost always save the Chargers. I think Bull's story arc is better if he becomes Tal-Vashoth.

It is pretty sad. I always got reminded of it every time I went to see anyone in the tavern. I saw that Krem wasn't on his chair and I would want to cry again. Ow. My heart.

I am sure this kind of behaviour is not healthy. I am also too ashamed to tell my beloved the reason why my pillow is a little wet every night, since my Lavellan met Solas again. ;-)

As much as I adore both my Solasmancers, I could not turn my back on my first and canon Inquisitor, so he went first.
Depends on the person I guess. I personally preferred my friendships with Solas. Guess its all simply how attached to that romance you are. I'm attached to the friendship between Solas and Inquisitor so that one touched me more deeply then my romance run-through did.
I really does depend on the person. Solas romance is my personal favorite in DAI, but I had a much stronger reaction the first time with Staches who was friends with Solas. Mostly because I already knew what was going down the second time through.
And drink because discussing romances.
