You've mentioned this before and I've wanted to ask and keep forgetting.  Does it bug you at all when others create a black character?  For instance, my DAO Melian  & DAI Luthien are both black elves.

I really am not the "I speak for my people" and/or "Elvis stole our music"-type. I don't understand most street terms, and I think baggie pants look ridiculous. For crying out loud, I drink tea.

 

My canon Hawke is a brown haired white man (even though the whole refugee living in the slums, second-class-citizen thing would have its interesting clichée'd connotation). In DAO I played a character I loved to hate (female bitter City Elf), in DA2 I was playing a character I loved to listen to. In DAI I'm playing a "cool version" of myself - as I did in TES and Fallout games.

 

It is there where I like it when my facial structure isn't alienated in the gameworld I'm in. It's really a very egoistic thing. The more self-insertion is possible, the more I want to really be able to, in every regard.

I'm not one that actually believes that violence should be the way to solve things (outside of video games) but I am getting so fed up with people stating  things "objectively" that I may snap if someone in real life actually says that word to me today.

Eh, yesterday evening.  And in this particular context, it is indeed Andraste.  Recall Barris refers to her as "our Lady."  Lady of the Skies, though... interesting, I hadn't even thought of that when I typed it.  Still, no, it's Andraste.

 

ETA:  Her Royness is, I think, on a mobile, Foley.  She can't see sigs, so wouldn't know what you were referring to when you asked about the Ranger reference.  Royness, my signature now has a line about being a Templar which includes the term "The Lady."
