Agenda's everywhere.
Less talking, more drinking!

Thank you, I'll use it to drown my rage

Absolutely! Agendas everywhere.
I do hear a lot of praise for Calpernia as a character, though I only seem to have met her in DAMP
She has an interesting background and reasons to be with Corypheus. Most importantly you can find compromising evidence versus Corypheus during her quest and use it to make her walk away, instead of fighting at all.

Have a seat, dear. Tea?
Ask the others in order to go straight for the sauce.
Ah more Cersei Lannister. The biggest drunk in the history of fiction.
I still can't choose between templars or mages for a favourite. I love the Champions of the Just quest so much (and mm Barris
), but I prefer hunting down Samson over going after Calpernia. Every single playthrough this decision is an indecisive nailbiting choice..

This actually is my answer to my indecisiveness... hahaha
I had a dream last night I was living inside an MMO game and hooked up with a girl that looks very much like Calpernia.
This conversation has just reminded me.
Thank the Maker I wasn't in this dream.

That's the thing, I really don't even like the Champions of the Just quest. But everything it sets onwards is just so much better.

It's how I made my decision at the end of Trespasser. ![]()

Yeah, I was never a fan of Fiona or her rebels but dammit I enjoy the Samson quests, only because as a player I know him from DA2 rather well and feel like he betrayed me.

I find the "mages or templars?" choice terribly one-sided myself. Who do I go to? On one side, a bunch of arrogant types who find it acceptable to punch priests in the face in front of everyone and are presented as being totally unlikeable. On the other, a group of angry zappy people who are ABOUT TO BE RECRUITED EN MASSE BY TEVINTER MAGES WHO WORSHIP SOMETHING CALLED THE ELDER ONE. Yeah, that sounds fine, don't see a problem there, nothing bad can come of something called 'the Elder One', why intervene?

That does sound interesting.
*watches a video*
Huh. The "Skin That X" armour from Trespasser is also Calpernia's gear? Did not know that. It looks awesome.
*still needs to upload Trespasser screenshots*

If you know him so well from DA2, you would know that he "betrays" you even there...? The whole "pretending to help apostates stay under the radar" that is revealed to be "selling children to slavers for drug money"?
I apologize for being so vigilant, but I truly resent this guy for everything he is, and I don't see what there is possibly left to feel betrayed about at the time of DAI.
Or maybe I just happen to have made choses that perfectly skip any remotely saving grace he could potentially put forth. I am admittedly not much of a YouTuber for undiscovered choices.

Yes. But understand: my Hawke helped him get back into the Order to clean up his act after all that (during Act 3 I think) and what does he do the next chance he gets? betrays that second-chance to redeem himself that was handed to him on a silver platter. See DA:I.
I never once liked him. I just tried to give him a second chance but nope, he couldn't make the most of that now could he...

I don't even remember that choice was there, I apologize again.
And here I was, thinking I had quite the superbly altruistic mindset.
Yup, obsessed with my character all over again. She kicks ass
I know that feel so well, for the exact same reason. ![]()
